For admission in M.Tech programme candidate should be an Indian national and have scored a minimum of 60% in engineering degree examination. Their is relaxation for the candidate according to their category. Students who are pursuing B.Tech and are in their 6th semester can also apply for it.

Candidates who have passed AMIE/AMIETE Examinations are also eligible for admission in M.Tech if they have a valid GATE score and a minimum of 55% marks for section B in the AMIE/AMIETE Examination. They should also have a minimum three years of professional experience in the field of specialisation in which they want to enroll. The admission procedure is quite similar to B.Tech.
