Footwear Design and Development Institute (also known as FIDDI) is located in Noida, established under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India in 1986. The College is regarded as an Institution of National Importance” under the FDDI Act 2017. FDDI Noida is one of the 12 campuses with 20+ acres of land, established by FDDI. The College is recognised by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). FDDI is ISO and Bureau of Indian Standard-certified and accredited by DAkkS- Germany, SATRA Technology Center- UK.
FDDI Noida through various schools of study, offers UG and PG courses to students. These courses are provided across the Design and various other streams. Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), offers BDes and BBA at an Undergraduate level. Admission to UG courses is entirley based on, candidate's performance in the FDDI AIST, entrance test conducted by the Institution. However, before applying for the AIST, candidates are required to be eligible: Twelve years of school education from any recognised Board. Any School or Board or University examination in India or in foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
FDDI Noida cut off changes every year. In general, the basic eligibility criteria for the college is past academic records and a valid score in FDDI AIST and other accepted entrance exams. Candidates must known the FDDI AIST syllabus. Candidates must prepare according to the FDDI AIST Exam Pattern. Prepare well for the entrance exams as the competition is high and the seats are limited.
FDDI Noida Popular Programmes 2026
Candidates willing to get admission to various courses must make an online payment of INR 600 (General/ OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category) and INR 300 (SC/ ST/ PWD category) against the registration. At the UG level, the college offers BDes and BBA courses to students. At the PG level, the college offers MDes and MBA courses to students. BDes is provided in three specialisations and MDes is provided in two specialisations. FDDI Noida offers BDes and MDes as popular programmes. BDes and MDes students are placed in top companies.
The College offers these courses with tuition fees ranging from INR 5.83 Lakh to INR 9.43 Lakh with a duration of the respective courses ranging from 2 years to 4 years. Candidates must secure minimum aggregate in Class 12 and graduation. In addition, FIDDI offers courses on the basis of valid scores in the AIST entrance exam. FIDDI offers these courses with an annual intake ranging from 30 to 80 seats.

Candidates who have Bachelor's Degree from any recognised board, are eligibile for the FDDI MDes Programme. Also candiates must appear for the AIST (All India Selection Test), which qualifies the candidates for admission to the MDes programme. FDDI offers MDes in Footwear Design and Production Technology. The MDes programme provides in-depth understanding of Footwear (Leather & Non Leather) Design, Manufacturing, Management and Retailing. The course encourages Research based study of the relevant area to take up higher challenges in the relevant Industry.
The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in only one specialisations i.e. Retail and Fashion Merchandise (RFM). The mode of Footwear Design and Development Institute admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores and merit.
