There is a centralized placement for all the courses. Absolutely satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Pantaloons, UCB, max, F21, etc. There is a centralised placement. I'm not sure about the percentage of students who get internships. But placement for footwear and retail are too good. For fashion designing also it's quite decent.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, libraries, and Labs are well maintained. Hostel facilities and mess food are not good enough. There are no AC rooms. Few rooms are not in good condition. There is a common washroom for girls. In mess, they provide only south Indian food so most of the north students eat in the cafeteria.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful. There are some teachers who don't teach their subjects very well. In the foundation year, subjects are simple. From the second year there are 9 subjects in fashion design. All the subjects help the students to get industry ready.

Review of Footwear Design and Development Institute.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got the job from college. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top companies like Adidas, Reliance, and Aditya Birla visited the campus for recruitment. Above 65% of the students got internships. Top role offered was as a quality assistant. Students who scored more than 50% in their academics can apply for this college.
Infrastructure: Labs of all the courses were good. We had food medical facilities. There was a canteen on the campus. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel was very good. We had a library in which we top branded shoe magazines were available and we learned a lot from them.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful. Students were ready to work in the industry after the course. This course helps students to set up their work and run their own small industry and make their own designing shoes for people.
Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in designing shoes.

The fee structure of FFDI, Noida is Rs 91,400 for 1st semester, and second semester onward it is Rs 76,400 for each semester. For other campuses, it is Rs 71,400 for 1st semester and Rs 56,400 for the rest of each semester.

As it is a UG course of 4 years, eligibility for this is that you have completed class 12th and after that you will get admission on the basis on FDDI rank, and it is totally a rank based procedure, as if you have given the exam, then you have to give the counselling fee by the 1st week of July to g

Hi Aisha,
Generally, the counselling gives you an idea if your rank is eligible for admission in the given college. But I highly doubt that you will be eligible for the admission with the compartment as you cannot pursue graduation without submitting your class 12 certificates and mark sheets.

Yes, B.Des is, in fact a Bachelor's degree. FDDI is affiliated to Mewar University, and you will get the degree from Mewar University itself.

Yes, this institute dose offer b.des in fashion design. Well as per the reviews, The college has a nice placement cell, and they provide a good salary package. This college has a large number of placements with attractive offers. To get a minimum placement one should meet the minimum criteria
