The college is very good in terms of culture and growth.
Placements: Our pass out batch saw some recruitments in companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Training given in the soft skills classes played an important role for many students. For internships, our batch saw a plethora of companies like V-Guard, INA, Asian Paints, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostels are pretty well-maintained, and the first year ashram hostels provide a very good environment to grow. Mess food is average on excluding the fact that it is purely vegetarian. Canteens are good and serve a good variety of dishes.
Faculty: Teaching quality varied all the way from excellent to below average. Most of the teachers are more than willing to help us in any way possible. The curriculum spanned a good deal of the ideas and theories need for practical applications and is useful for the work later on.

Good infrastructure and qualified teachers for help.
Placements: Placements for our course has just started 2 years before. The first batch that faced placement had a few students who got placed. The CIR department of our college actively encourages students to take part in the placement drive and they provide a training during the process by arranging classes. We have now attended the test by Infosys and TCS.
Infrastructure: The college has a wonderful infrastructure and the labs and library facilities are okay. We have spacious rooms in our hostel and the mess food is satisfactory. We get only vegetarian food in the canteen. Medical facilities are also available in case of emergency. Sports are not that encouraged in the campus, still there are students who actively take up the responsibility and initiate different activities. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: Teachers in the Physics department are highly qualified and always willing to help. We have enough opportunities here if we use them. Curriculum is updated frequently and the reaching quality is satisfactory. Teachers encourage students to take part in internships and improve their knowledge.
Other: This course is an integrated programme and the syllabus is a bit tough. It would have been a lot better if we are given a bit more exposure. We have great events happening at our campus, Ammas birthday and Vidyut being the best among them. Ayudh group of the campus also arranges wonderful lectures for interested students.

Review of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University - Amritapuri Campus.
Placements: The integrated course is research-oriented, i.e., there would be no enough placements. Opportunities provided by our college for researches are also low comparatively. The number of students who choose to join in companies to work is limited to around 5. So, placements are also less here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is satisfactory, which is located on the campus. One hostel is situated in the ashram side, which is excellent with the view and breeze from the sea. The quality of the food served is below average at Amrita. However, the neatness is also maintained, but sometimes it is not satisfactory.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the university are PhD holders, and they have a good number of years experience. But their way of conveying it to students is not satisfactory some times. The course curriculum is challenging, which is of a high level compared to other institutions.
Other: Our college is not regular in conducting events. Even our college conducts science fest only once in three years. It also does not provide enough opportunities for students to showcase their extra talents.

Our college offers below average placements and highly qualified teachers.
Placements: I chose to quit college after my B.Sc. Only one student among us got placed in Federal Bank. Mostly students get placed in the IT sector, which I feel is the worse thing because we are students studying physics. None of the students got an internship in any of the companies as we were not informed about them. Even if we get an internship, it will clash with our class timings, and we won't be given attendance.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are pathetic as we have large students strength, but we are given small classrooms. In the library, books are limited so it won't be available for all. Some books are not even available. Labs are poorly constructed with poor instruments. Canteen on the campus is good.
Faculty: Majority of the physics teachers in our college are highly qualified, knowledgeable and approachable. The teaching quality is satisfactory and good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Teachers help with visual contents and projects to make us better learners.

Our college has good faculty members, moderate infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: For placements, CIR department helps us to get a job, but the issue is that jobs offered are not related to our field of study. Most of the students after completing their integrated course, opt for NEET and other entrance exams for higher studies. Other students and students who choose to exit the course after B.Sc mostly get placed in the IT sector, banks, etc. But almost every time, there are no jobs related to physics.
Infrastructure: The library has a lot of books, but most of them are related to engineering students. Engineering students will have an entire row of the same textbooks, whereas there are about 8-10 textbooks for a physics subject. So, most of the time we take photocopies from friends as we don't get the required books, or else we buy them. Our college has a lot of classrooms, and they include both huge and small. There were 60 students in my class, and in the previous year, we had to sit in a small classroom, which was congested. We had requested to change us to a huge classroom, but they didn't do it.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers here are friendly and helpful. If we don't understand a particular topic, we can always approach them. The course curriculum is more research-oriented and is structured in that way. But there are very few teachers who don't exactly follow it, and we don't understand anything they teach. In such cases, we have to study on our own because even if we complain, we will be blamed.
