It has excellent infrastructure and facilities with strong industry connections.
Placements: Almost 95% of BCA Data Science students at Amrita University got placed. The highest salary package offered is 56.95 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7.60 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Infosys, and Accenture visit the college for placements. The internship rate is about 50-80%. Roles like data analyst and software engineer are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Amrita University provides excellent Wi-Fi, modern labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities are comfortable with good food options in the mess and canteen. The campus also offers medical care, a gym, and a variety of sports activities for students.
Faculty: Teachers at Amrita University are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, providing excellent guidance. The teaching quality is interactive and focused on practical learning. The BCA Data Science curriculum is relevant, covering industry standards and preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately challenging and require thorough preparation. The pass percentage is high, with students consistently performing well due to comprehensive coursework and supportive faculty members.
Other: I chose the BCA Data Science course for its strong focus on Python, data analytics, and cloud computing, which aligns with my career interests. The best aspects are hands-on learning, industry-relevant tools, and excellent faculty members support. However, more industry projects and exposure to emerging technologies like AI would be beneficial. The university offers a vibrant campus life with events, fests, and a diverse crowd, creating a great atmosphere for personal and professional growth. Campus connectivity is excellent. There are ample opportunities for extracurricular activities and scholarships.

Review of Amrita School of Arts, Humanities and Commerce, Kochi.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed from our college to top-ranking companies. Infosys, Hitachi, Wipro, etc., are the top companies that recruit students. Roles offered are web developer, game developer, software engineer, etc. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Around 40% of students secured internship courses mainly from Infosys.
Infrastructure: All sorts of facilities are available for students but classrooms are not well-maintained. Labs are good and have the best systems available. There is no hostel for boys so boys have to stay as paying guests. The quality of food that is served in college is poor.
Faculty: I rate the teaching quality 9 out of 10 because our college provides the best teaching to students. All teachers are highly qualified. Course curriculum is relevant. There are 2 exams. Mid-term is out of 50 and end-semester is out of 100. Exams are quite difficult.
Other: I chose this course because of the certificate value and placement opportunities offered to students. It would be better if they keep more events and start sports activities in the college. There are not many college activities and events. The campus surroundings are good and give a positive vibe.

Good placements and a college with a good environment.
Placements: The percentage of students getting into the placements, from what the faculty say, is 100%. The highest package someone has got as a fresher is 17 Lacs per annum. The lowest is 5 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Intel, Nokia, etc. The paid internships in these companies often lead to placements in one of them. Most of the students get into the internship program. The top roles offered in the course are software developer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure here are great. The computer labs are nice and well-maintained, equipped with good computers, and are also air-conditioned. They also provide Wi-Fi for lab use. Every classroom has TVs or projectors installed. The classrooms are spacious and tidy. The library here has a great variety of books that you can take. The canteen is good, but it is vegetarian. There aren't many sports activities here, but there is occasional selection for badminton and basketball. That's all there is for sports.
Faculty: The teachers here are very kind and helpful. They are also very qualified. The teachers help us with any trouble. The teaching quality is good. There are subjects like life skills in this course, which help us to improve our communication and also teach us how to attend an interview. It makes us ready for the industry. They also teach us the course at an application level, which should help us greatly when we join a job. There are two exams conducted in a semester: mid-term and final. I wouldn't say the exams are too difficult; if you took computer science in the 12th boards, you should be good. I would say the pass percentage is above 95%.
Other: The reason I chose this course is because of its job opportunities. I heard that it has good scope in the future, and also I want to pursue my career in the IT sector, so I think this course should be good. There are some additional subjects in the course here in Amrita, like aptitude, culture, and Indian heritage, and I think they are unnecessary. There are not many events or fests conducted here, only departmental events like exhibitions and hackathons. The campus surroundings are nice with many trees. It has a calm environment. There are scholarships for students who achieve 90% and above in their 12th boards. But if they fail to achieve 9 SGPA and above in the semester exams, the scholarship is discontinued and cannot be renewed.

Amrita school of arts and Science Kochi.
Placements: The college offers very good placement. Almost 90 percent of the students are placed with a good package and average salary of 8 to 9 Lacs per annum. The lowest package is 4 LPA and the highest package is 18 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Infosys are the common recruiters .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good even though the campus is small. But they have done no compromises in infrastructure of the college. No hostel facility is available for boys in the college. For girls, college facility is available. Canteen facility is also available.
Faculty: Almost all the people in teaching faculty are well experienced and friendly. The course is really good and they have a different curriculum. The exams are kind of difficult and they have a different grading system. You have to score above 50 percent to be on a safe side.
Other: I chose BCA honors degree in this college as it is relevant right now. They make you industry ready with this course. But this college does not have college life and fests.

Good college but no campus life.
Placements: Almost all of the students are placed in this college, with an average package of 9-12 LPA. Top companies like Infosys, Microsoft, Google, and Bosch hire from this college. 95% of the students get placement in this college. If students are looking for placements, they can join this college.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure. But there is no boys hostel available in this college. So students have to stay outside. Girls do have hostels, but it is kind of strict. Only vegetarian food is allowed inside the campus. The library, classrooms, and all are good and have many books and references.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well experienced and qualified. The course curriculum is always updated and makes students industry-ready. But the end-of-semester exams are really tough. They have a different grading system. So to be on the safe side, a student has to score 50% or above.
Other: There is no campus life in this college. Almost no fests, crowds, extracurricular activities. Also, the campus is very small. If you want college life, don't join this college.

Don't join this college, if you want to enjoy your college life.
Placements: The placement is so good. Major companies like Amazon, Hcl, tcl and many more visit for placements. Placements trainings are good. Top recruiting companies are hcl, Amazon, ibm, Asianet, tcl, Manorama, Amrita, Infosys, deolite, Wipro, icici federal bank, kpmg, oracle, Microsoft and many more.
Infrastructure: Hostel food is bad, and the campus is small. We can't eat non veg food in the campus, and the canteen is small. Hostel students have to attend prayers, and they can't enjoy their life. Hostel is only available for girls.
Faculty: Exams are hard. You should study, if you want to pass. Their marking system is different. You have to write something on the answer sheet to score marks, or else you will fail.
Other: Don't join this campus, if you want to enjoy your college life. If you are looking for placement, then this is a good choice.
