BTech at SRM IST Vadapalani offers a four-year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme in three core fields of Engineering under the department of Mechanical, Computing and Electronics. Selection criteria for Sri Ram Institue of Science and Technology, Vadapalani is based on SRMJEE entrance scores for BTech courses.
Eligibile Criteria is as follows:
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognized boad are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have at least 60% aggregate marks in the previous exam.

SRM IST BTech Admission Dates 2025 depends on its entrance exam cycle, SRMJEE. Typically, every year SRM IST BTech registrations go live in November or so. After which SRMJEE for BTech is conducted in three phases. Usually, the first phase of registration closes in April. Phase 2 and Phase 3 registration starts in June and July, respectively. The whole admission process is done online. Counselling starts after the results are out.
