The college shows off more, but in reality it's not all that great.

Placements: There are no placements for mechanical engineers on campus; only IT-side campuses are coming, and the CRT programme, which was conducted by the college, was a useless waste of money that promised strict restrictions and rules but delivered nothing.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okayish, renovations are taking place because the college is converting to autonomy but still needs lots of improvements. Still, the infrastructure looks old, very large cracks can be visible in the building, and cleanliness could have been maintained in a more efficient manner.

Faculty: Below average faculty members could have trained well for teaching, and they won't say the whole syllabus due to various reasons. Some stuff is taught outside of the syllabus because that's what the teachers know. Sometimes they don't follow the curriculum at all.

Other: I chose the course because my family wanted me to. Or else I would have gone for software engineering, but the plus point in mechanical engineering is that a mechanical engineer can jump to the IT sector or get placed in the same sector, but a software engineer can't do so. Teaching materials could have been improved; perhaps they should not have been taught in English, but rather in our mother tongue, so that we could have understood the concept at the very least.

AITK was a very good college in Kadapa.

Placements: Among 60 students, only 15 students got placements. The packages offered range from 3.5 to 4.0 LPA. Capgemini and cognizant are our top recruiting companies. This college provides the best quality of placements. Students are placed every year and the salary packages depend upon their qualifications.

Infrastructure: The college has a superb infrastructure, good lectures and sports. There is no hostel. The college has boys' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The college has all the necessary infrastructures, all types of facilities and equipments, perfect classrooms and Laboratories, libraries, Sports Centre and Wi-Fi, smart boards are available, etc. The college maintains a good hygiene.

Faculty: Lectures provided are great and the course is curriculum relevant. 70% students pass in the semester exams. I had an interest in mechanical engineering so I chose this course.

Other: Mechanical department has a good staff.

Everything is good but the importance to sports is average.

Placements: Forty percent of students are placed from our course and the highest package is Rs 3.6 lakhs per annum with top recruiting companies like DXC, Microsoft, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc., and almost sixty percent of students got internships and the roles are specified by the companies itself.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good and equal facilities to all the branches and courses with Wi-Fi, labs, digital labs, well-equipped library with a lot of information. There is no hostel provided for outside students and canteen food is nice with good medical facilities but less importance to sports and games where a separate room is provided for indoor games and good ground for volleyball with basketball court.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified with good knowledge and have high teaching quality. Yes, the course is curriculum relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough as they are conducted by JNTUA and the pass percentage is 70 percent. Teachers are very helpful to students and encourage students in all events and studies and some teachers are Ph.D. qualified with high skills.

This is an excellent college.

Placements: I was a student of Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences. I've studied B.Tech in the mechanical engineering stream here. My lecturers taught us very well. My classmates were placed in many MNCs while I got placed in Aurobindo Pharma. Our college has conducted many placement drives.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Annamacharya Institute is very good. The college was recognised by Microsoft. Libraries and classrooms were very well built. The campus was surrounded by a good number of trees. We have very modern labs available here. The campus is green, and we have a good parking space. Washrooms available here are very clean.

Faculty: Our lectures teach students very well. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Our college offers many courses. Our faculty members used to complete all the syllabus. They clear all of our doubts related to academics. Almost all the lecturers are PhD holders.

Other: Annamacharya Institute has organised many events like teachers day, engineers day, and environmental day etc. Annual day celebrations are conducted very well. Scholarships are also offered in our college.

It is a good college for a good education.

Placements: Many companies visited our college for placement drives, and many of our friends got placed. Many famous companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., provided placements here. The highest salary package offered here is 6 LPA. There are good placements in our college, and above 60% of the students got placements from here.

Infrastructure: There are good and neat classrooms and a huge library. All the books are available in the library, and there are all types of equipment in the lab. There are a good volleyball court and basketball court on our campus. Currently, there is no hostel here, but its construction is in progress.

Faculty: All the faculty members here are above M. Tech graduated persons. Some of them did their PhDs also and got a doctorate. Faculty members are the best and best in teaching. They are the best to clear all the doubts, and they are very friendly to students. All courses are the best to pursue in this college.

Other: All branches are good here, and our college provides good teaching in all branches.

Candidates who have appeared for the final year of 10+2 and who are awaiting for their results are also eligible to apply on provisonal basis.

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, from a recognized Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
