Army College of Dental Sciences Admission Process 2025
Army College of Dental Sciences admission process 2025 offers only an online application facility. UG programme has a seat intake of 50 seats each year. PG programme has a seat intake of 15 seats each year. Each of these seats are filled on merit basis with reference to NEET UG scores for BDS and NEET MDS scores for PG courses. Candidates are initially granted a provisional admission. Admission is considered final only after acceptance of eligibility by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal (Telangana).
Note: KNR UHS issues two separate notifications for Registration under BDS on their official portal. First notification for BDS admission is for Competent Authority Quota. Thereafter, notification for admission under Management Quota is issued. Management Quota notification is usually issued after the last date of registration for Competent Authority Quota. The admission for all the Management Quota Seats is carried out by KNR UHS only.

Step 1: Registration
Candidates have to first register online on the official portal of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences: www.knruhs.in. Candidates must also pay the required registration fee in order to attend the counselling session for admission to Army College of Dental Sciences.
Step 2: Acknowledgement form
After successful registration, the candidate is automatically issued an online acknowledgement form with registration number by the university.
Step 3: Document Verification
All candidates who receive Registration Number from Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, should forward the scanned copy of required documents online to Army College of Dental Sciences for verification of the same from the issuing authority. The mail address is academics@acds.edu.in.
- Registration Acknowledgment Sheet received online from KNRUHS.
- NEET UG/ PG Rank Card.
- Certificate 1 to 4 in ACDS BDS Prospectus-2025/ Certificate 1 to 3 & 5 to 8 ACDS MDS Prospectus-2025, as applicable only.
- Copy of Ex-serviceman Identity card, discharge book, PPO, Part II order and ECHS card of the candidate along with certificate as per ACDS BDS/MDS Prospectus duly signed by Zila Sainik Welfare Officer.
- Copy of serving certificate, dependency certificate.
- Copy of all certificates mentioned in Ensuring Eligibility for provisionally selected candidates of ACDS BDS/MDS Prospectus-2025.
- Alternate E mail ID & two Contact Mobile numbers with names (preferably one of the Candidate and second one of the parent)
Note: Verification of documents is held online. Hence, it is very important for all those who are registering with KNR UHS for admission in Army college of Dental Sciences, to forward scanned copies of their eligibility documents to Army college of Dental Sciences immediately for verification from their issuing authority.
Step 4: Merit List
After the last date of registration, the university notifies the merit list as per NEET UG/MDS cutoff for those who have successfully registered online and have had their required documents verified online on the official portal.
Step 6: Counselling Session
Dates for counselling and certificate verification are announced by KNRUHS on their website for PG generally by Feb end/ early March and for UG by August end (after merit list is released).
Only students who are shortlisted on the merit list are required to attend the counselling session. The university conducts counselling for all students online with no offline facility offered.
Note: It is the responsibility of candidates to continuously check the official portal of the university for counseling dates.
Step 5: Provisional Admission
Candidates who attend counselling are selected for BDS / various MDS specialties by KNR UHS Selection Board and are issued Provisional Admission Order along with the date of admission.
Note:Army/Air Force/Navy Candidates MUST NOT register themselves under Competent Authority Quota as it is only for the Telangana State Civilians/domiciled students. If a student registers under Competent Authority quota, he/she is automatically debarred from registering for the 43 seats under Management Quota.
Prior to Counselling by the KNR UHS team, each candidate is referred to the Army college of Dental Sciences Help Desk located in the Counselling Centre for verification of eligibility for admission under Army Quota.

Army College of Dental Sciences seat matrix is 50 students per year for BDS. The course is a four year course available in full time mode. The fourth year comprises an in-house internship which is mandatory for all BDS students.

Army College of Dental Sciences MDS is offered to candidates at the PG level. Candidates are required to participate in the entrance-based admission process to be considered for the final admission offer. Candidates are shortlisted for the MDS programme based on their performance in the entrance exam. Candidates who qualify in the admission process are eligible to secure their seat in the 3 years programme.

The applicant for admission to MDS at Army college of Dental Sciences must have a BDS degree from a central or state recognised university, to be eligible for the same. The candidate must also have permanent registration with any State Dental Council. In addition period of one year experience/internship must have been completed. The internship completion certificate must be submitted at the time of application for admission.
Army college of Dental Sciences offers an in house mandatory internship programme for all final year MDS students with a stipend of INR 2500/- per month. Students are advised to check with the admissions office if the internship offered to final year MDS students is mandatory.
MDS Prosthodontics is a three year course in full time mode with a seat intake of three seats. Two seats of these, are reserved for children of Air Force and Navy personnel. Admission into MDS programme at the college is merit based with the university accepting NEET MDS scores. No other entrance exam is conducted by the university. The minimum eligibility is having a BDS degree from a recognised university.

Army college of Dental Sciences offers hostels for its students and charges a fee of INR 40,000/-. A Demand Draft for INR 40,000/- must be prepared in favor of Army College of Dental Sciences (Hostel/Mess A/c) payable at Secunderabad or Hyderabad. Alternatively the fee can be paid through NEFT/RTGS at the time of admission also. Hostels are compulsory for all students in the college.
In addition to the hostel and tuition fee, the following charges have to be paid by the students at Army college of Dental Sciences, on an yearly basis:
- Mess charges: The students' mess is run by a mess committee formed by students amongst themselves. Monthly messing is INR 4200/- or (INR 140/- per day), as worked out by the mess committee. - Gymnasium: Gymnasium has been installed in the college campus for students. Gym charges for INR 600/- (i.e. INR 50/- per month). The same is paid in advance separately at the time of admission as well as every year.
- AWES Insurance: All students studying in AWES Colleges have been insured centrally by HQ AWES. The AWES Insurance premium for INR 130/- per year (INR 390/- for three years) required to be paid in advance by the candidate.
At Army College of Dental Sciences fees are refunded after commencement of the course but before last date of admission if seat is filled by another Candidate. The refund policy is as follows:
· Initiation Registration Fees - Full registration fees less INR 1000/- processing charges.
· Admission Fees - To be refunded
