GNMIS library introduced two new in-house journals by the dignitaries on January 31, 2026, during VIPANAN – Marketing Conclave 2026. There were various library visitors who conducted interviews or donated books to the library. Read the entire article to know more about GNIMS Mumbai library details

The GNIMS Library released the July–December 2025 issues of its in-house publications, the International e-journal of Library Science and the SANSMARAN Management Research Journal, during the January 2026 VIPANAN Marketing Conclave. The facility, which recorded high usage of ProQuest and IEEE databases, also hosted academic visitors for dissertation research and accepted a book donation during the same period. RELEASED TWO IN-HOUSE JOURNALS:

GNIMS Library has Two In-House Journals – International e-journal of Library Science and SANSMARAN Management Research Journal. It was released by the dignitaries during VIPANAN – Marketing Conclave 2026.

LIBRARY VISITORS: 

Ms. Akshata Tawde, a student of Master of Library and Information Science (Second Year) at SHPT School of Library Science, SNDT Women’s University, visited the GNIMS library to interview Dr. Kuljeet G. Kahlon, Library Manager, on “Innovative Practices by Libraries to Increase Footfall in Libraries.” This was for her dissertation. We wish her all the very best for her future endeavours.

 

Another visitor was Mr S. Viswanathan, who donated a book entitled “Story Rules” to the GNIMS Library. We appreciated this donation of a book and wish him all the best for future endeavours.

   

Another Student from SNDT Ms. Gauravi Rajan Gurav, also visited the GNIMS Library for her dissertation on “Role of Libraries in Plagiarism Prevention: A Study of Management Institutes in Mumbai.
