NIFT Srinagar Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise NIFT Cutoff Ranks

In 2025, the NIFT Srinagar cutoff was declared for admission to the various undergraduate and postgraduate design courses. The cutoff was released till 4 rounds of counselling for multiple categories in the All India and Home State quota. 

The NIFT Srinagar cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BDes at the UG level and MFM at the PG level in the form of opening and closing ranks. NIFT Srinagar Cutoff 2025 for General All India Category

According to the NIFT Srinagar cutoff 2025, the MFM course came out as the most popular course for admission for the General AI category. This course had the lowest cutoff in both the first and last rounds, being 519 and 953, respectively.  In contrast, the easiest course for admission was BDes in Textile Design, with the cutoff being 5854. NIFT Srinagar Cutoff 2025 for OBC All India Category

For the NIFT Srinagar OBC cutoff 2025, the last round cutoff ranged from 924 to 7672, wherein the toughest course for admission was the MFM course, with the cutoff of 924. In comparison, the General AI category had the last round cutoff of 953 for the same course; this means that competition for this category was slightly higher. NIFT Srinagar Cutoff 2025 for SC All India Category

For this category, the cutoff was only released for the BDes course specialisations. Hence, according to the NIFT Srinagar BDes cutoff 2025, the last round cutoff varied between 8432 and 8606, with the most in-demand specialisation being Fashion Communication, with the last round cutoff of 8432. NIFT Srinagar Cutoff 2025 for ST All India Category

 Admission for this category was only offered for the BDes in Accessory Design course, with the first and last round cutoff recorded at 8431. When the qualifying rank is the same in the initial as well as the final round, it could mean that NIFT Srinagar admissions for this course for this category were closed in the first round itself.

NIFT Srinagar Cutoff 2025 for EWS All India Category

Students have to appear in the NIFT entrance examination, followed by the counselling process, to be eligible for admission. For this category, the cutoff was only released for the BDes course specialisations. 

In the first round, the two most sought-after specialisations were Fashion Communication, followed by Accessory Design, with a cutoff of 3987 and 5703, respectively. In the last round for both these specialisations, the NIFT Srinagar admissions were closed at 7196 and 7191, respectively. NIFT Srinagar Cutoff 2025 for General Home State Category

The NIFT Srinagar counselling results were published for admission to the MFM course and BDes course, and their various specialisations for the Home State quota General category, too.

Among both courses. the most toughest for admission was the MFM course, with the cutoff being 591 in both the first and last rounds. Another tough course to secure a seat for was the BDes in Fashion Design, with the cutoff being 5665 in the first and last round both.
