AAFT Placement & Salary Insights

AAFT Noida conducts on campus placements. As of now, the 2025 placement stats have been released. The highest salary offered to the students was INR 16 LPA. The overall average salary was between INR 3.60 LPA and INR 4 LPA. More than 2,000 companies participated in the drive and placed 1,175 students in new age job roles. The placement rate recorded in 2025 was 93%.

AAFT is a private academy; however, it is approved by the UGC. The academy also has multiple associations with international universities such as New York University, USA, Oxford Business College, United Kingdom and Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. Established in 1990, the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), is a Media and Communication academy located in Delhi/ NCR. It is located in Film City Noida and is known for offering various undergraduate, postgraduate, Diploma and short-term courses in the fields of Cinema, Mass Communication, Animation, Fashion and Photography.

BA at AAFT is a full-time three-year UG course divided into six semesters. It is designed to provide students with strong theoretical foundations and practical training in chosen field. In three years, students get hands-on exposure industry interactions and opportunities to build a professional portfolio for career growth.

Yes, AAFT Noida campus is safe for girls and boys. The college campus is located in Delhi/NCR. It has a good connection with roads and public transports. CCTV cameras are installed in the campus to keep a check on students safety.

AAFT Noida offers a separate residential facility for boys and girls that is available within 8 km of the AAFT campus. Due to limited occupancy, hostel accommodation is not offered to applicants from Delhi and NCR. Admission to the hostel is made on a first-come, first-serve basis.

AAFT has a highly educated faculty. Most of the faculty members are from the Film and Television background. The faculty members at AAFT ensures that students get a holistic learning environment, which encourages hard work and academic achievement.

Yes, for admission into BHM at AAFT, an entrance exam is required. Students must clear the AAFT Global Entrance Exam, which is essentially the initial test that the students are to undergo. This aptitude test of the students acts as a precursor to the PI round. Since only those matched with the requirements are eligible to apply for the BHM programme. This motivates the students to learn harder due to this highly competitive atmosphere, therefore resulting in favorable education outcomes.

The fees at AAFT included one-time tuition and Hostel fees. However as of now one-time fee is not present. The fee varies according to programme and specialisation chosen by students. Students need to pay registration fee of INR 20,600 for a degree and INR 15,600 for a Diploma course table below contains details of AAFT fee:

AAFT has concluded the admission for the academic year 2026 for BDes admission. However, the university has not specified a last date to apply. Admission to the BDes course is based on the AAFT GEE scores and the performance in the person interview round.  

BSc,  BA,  MSc and MA are the flagship courses of AAFT. These courses are taught across various popular specialisations such as Cinematography, Direction, Animation, Fashion Design, Jewellery Design, etc. The institute also offers multiple Diploma and certificate courses, which can be pursued by even high school graduates. Admission to all these courses is entrance-based.

Yes, for admission to all of its courses, the college conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., the AAFT Global Entrance Exam (AAFT GEE). This exam is a mandatory and common step in the selection process. It is an aptitude test that includes objective-type questions based on general topics related to the applied course. Only the students who pass this exam are called for interview rounds and become eligible for admission.
