B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2020
4.4
Review of Aurora's Technological and Research Institute.
Placements: Every year, about 60% of people will be placed in campus placements. For our course, the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, Mahindra, L & T, etc. There aren't many internships available, but there are a few, such as mine at Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good and well equipped. The hostel is also good. The Wi-Fi is available, with good speed.

It is a better place to learn new things.
Placements: Our college has a low rate of placements in which most of the jobs are call center ones. We might get a few technical jobs, but the pay is very low. In spite of placements, we can go directly for interviews outside the college, which would benefit us.
Infrastructure: We have better facilities than most of the colleges out there.
Faculty: Lecturers put every effort to teach students and they can enlighten you for the best future of your life. This college is not about only learning but also about getting the life goal that will help us in the future, and the faculty will be alright if you have to clear your doubts. The faculty, who were the best, left the college, and new faculty members are coming. It would take time for the new faculty to settle down and teach at their very best, but the faculty now is good and we can learn new things from them.
Other: They will conduct an event named Borealis every 2 years.

Review of Aurora's Technological and Research Institute.
Placements: 7.4 LPA is the highest package offered, and the lowest package is 2.2 LPA. There are no internships. Students get internships on their own.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. There are good labs and classrooms. The library is good. There is no hostel. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are also played here. Food facilities are not available. Some labs are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful but have below-average knowledge. The course curriculum is good. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not held in our college. The pass percentage is 77%. There are no placements.
Other: I chose IT course. The best thing here is good life.

It has average placements, good infrastructure, good faculty, and also awesome events.
Placements: I am from the batch 2013-2017. You'll get placements in the IT sector irrespective of the branch. There are no companies specifically for the mechanical department. The highest package offered is 3.25 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.8 LPA. Only 5% of students got placed in our course in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college. The classrooms and library are very good. Hostel facilities are not available in college. Sports facilities are good. There are special sports hours. Every year, sports competitions are conducted.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good and knowledgeable. It makes the students industry-ready for mechanical students. The pass percentage s good. The faculty are well-qualified. They strictly follow the rules for mid-exams, and the conduction of internal lab exams is very strict and accurate.
Other: Events, fests, and extracurricular activities are conducted here. Overall, the campus atmosphere is good for students.

I am dissatisfied with everything here.
Placements: Only 10% of the students from our course got placed, and the remaining students don't even get small jobs. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 9,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 13,000 per month and some times the salary offered was below than this. But students are not ready to take a job with below than this salary. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, etc., visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like software development engineer, call centre jobs, civil engineering jobs, mechanical engineering jobs, etc., are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 1.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.1 LPA. About 10-15% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi facility with a limit of 1 GB daily, and it is in only one block, good classroom and average labs. The college provides a small library, and all books are not available. The college does not provide hostel facility. Food facilities are not available. There is one canteen, but it is not great. Medical facilities are also not available. It provides a small ground. Our college is not interested in games and sports.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are knowledgeable. They are helpful, but so many teachers are not even qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, but some times they do not even cover the total syllabus. It does not make students industry-ready due to the type of teaching.
Other: I have chosen this course because due to interest in the mechanical subject. I wish the college should change the faculty, and it should provide practical knowledge. The college organises small events. Government scholarships are only for students who joined through EAMCET. Extracurricular activities are not conducted, but it organises cultural fest.

From Big companies we have got Goocements in 2020 and it has good infrastructure and also facilities
Placements: 1. About 90% of the students secured good percentage in this course. 2. IBM, GENPACT recruited the students. 3. The highest package 8 Lacs/annum, the lowest package 3.5 Lacs per annum 4. The roles offered in our course are design and programming 5.70% of students got internship from our course and in companies.
Infrastructure: 1. I our college which contain excellent labs. In our college contains central library. Digital classrooms and with excellent Wi-Fi facility. 2. In our college conducting games to increase physical skills and food is good in canteen and medical facilities also good.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are highly qualified and also good knowledgeable. They are helpful when we are in trouble and also in explaining every expect in easy manner and also in understandable manner. 2. The curriculum of the course is excellent and it will useful in industries.
Other: Basically from childhood I love to became a mechanical engineer, industrial visits should increase to increase the industrial knowledge.

In 2016, the placements were good for IT and CSE students.
Placements: The placements are not much as only BOPs visit the campus. For the core subjects, there are no core placements and no MNCs. There are no core placements for the mechanical engineering department, civil engineering department, electric elections engineering, but the placements are good for the computer science engineering department and information technology department.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. The labs are available, but only some machines are working. The classrooms are good. The library is good, but there is no required book with the required author. I don't know about the medical records. The college is good at the sports competition, and the games hour is allowed for everyone, and there is one almost every day.
Faculty: Some faculty members were excellent in their knowledge and the subject. They are highly qualified and helpful. Their teaching quality was good. Some teach us by using the simple logic and examples to understand. We didn't get any industry exposure. The student to faculty ratio was bad.
Other: The college is good at conducting the extracurricular activities for the students.

The worst experience with this college.
Placements: Placements are very poor in our college. Only 3-4 companies will attend and only 5-10 members got placed this year. There are no internships from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad with no Wi-Fi and no proper labs. Only a cricket kit is available in the college. There is no proper ground and the building is still under construction. There is no hostel facility but the quality of food is better. Many items are available and the price is the same at every college canteen. The campus should be more developed.
Faculty: The faculty team was average as they were not highly qualified and the teaching system and planning were not good. The students to teacher ratio is 10:1. We will get attendance by attending classes. Because of faculty members' irresponsibility, students are not attending the college. Students will not depend on faculty members for any of doubt clarification. There is no interesting factor to say about our college.
