One of the best campuses in Punjab in terms of faculty, facilities, placements and infrastructure.

Placements: As a civil engineer, you can go for the field job as a site engineer, or you can opt office job as a structure designer. There are many opportunities for entrepreneurship. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3.6 LPA. 100% of eligible candidates got placed.

Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and AC. Labs related to all the programs of B.Tech are available and equipped with ultra-modern equipment of top brands like Heico. The library has 15,000+ books and also has subscriptions to many journals like IEEE. The campus has separate AC hostels for boys and girls. For food, the campus has many canteens like Bru Cafe, Burger Point, canteen, Nescafe and many more.

Faculty: Each department has highly qualified faculty members, and they always motivate students for research work and patents. The college organises regular guest lectures from top companies as they aim to reduce academic and industry gaps. While setting question paper, the faculty keep in mind that questions in question paper cover all the course outcomes.

Other: I am always fascinated by construction activities, that's why I opted for this course. On the campus, many events like techfest, youthfest, and sports competitions are organised regularly for the overall development of students. Every year, Baba Farid organises Vibgyor, an international fest, which has many technical and non-technical activities. Students from all over the country and other countries participate in these activities.

Our college has a really good infrastructure and facilities and good placements in 2019.

Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Companies which offer internships here are Infosys, Ambuja Cement, Birla Cement, etc. Initially, they offer us a job as a co-worker, which is good as we have to learn how to do work in the field.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. There are all facilities which you need in a college like Wi-Fi, library, good classrooms, labs for study, smart classrooms, etc. Facilities available in the hostel are good. The food served in the mess is somewhat good. There are medical facilities in the hostel, and there is a good sports ground.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and qualified enough to teach us. They have good knowledge of their field, and they always try to use simple and unique techniques to teach us, which is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for industry work.

Good for hard workers but not the perfect one.

Placements: Only topper students are placed in the companies. The medium and average students are not placed. But the college will tell you about 100% placement. But it is not true. If you are not interested in job, then this college is perfect for you. otherwise it is not good for poor people and for those who want placement from the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is perfect. College is fully wifi, classrooms are perfect, the library is awesome. College is very responsible about the sports and cultural activities. There are good classrooms. The environment of the college is perfect. The security system in the college is good. No student can enter or exit without permission.

Faculty: Teachers are like in other colleges, not better. But some staff members are really good. They will help you in all the things you want for you. If you are working on any project, they will help you in that project. Thia is a plus point of the teachers of this college.

Other: Overall the college is good but please don't expect jobs if you are not the topper. Like I was the average one. I have not the highest marks in the class. So I am not placed in any type of companies. All my other friends were also not placed. Only 5-6 students from my class who were perfect in the studies were placed into construction companies.
