DAV University - "The real UNIVERSITY.

Placements: Well, what can I say about the placements. During our last semester, few companies (not all renowned) visited our university for the drive but unfortunately they all were IT based companies mostly but core companies didn't visited our campus. So wraping it up, we (Civil and Mechanical branch) didn't get any job from the University and I have to get job on my own.

Infrastructure: In order to achieve its world class education provider, DAV university offers significant enhancement of its Facilities and buildings which are essential for the research and overall development of the students. Some of the infrastructure are given below: 1. World class air conditioned classrooms. 2. High tech laboratories. 3. World class Library. 4. High-speed Wi-Fi all over the campus 5. Home like hostels. 6. Cafeteria. And the list goes on.

Faculty: Well I am going to be totally honest here. Though the University's been active for only 5 years ago, at first it struggled a bit in terms of the student teacher ratio wise as most of the people didn't know about the university but with the time it became better. One thing. The ONE most important thing many renowned university/colleges lack is the quality of education but in our university all the teachers were highly qualified and have a very good relation ship with students. In this area, it grabs 10 out of. In our tenure, to be frank we were exposed to the industry (internship) only one time and it was also the part of our syllabus and don't forget our survey camp (it was fun too). Overall, DAV university provides decent quality of education than many of the universities fail to offer.
