B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

I am satisfied with the faculty but dissatisfied with the college management system.
Placements: This year, 20 students are placed out of a total strength of 80 students. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest is about 2.5 LPA. I don't know exactly how many students got internships, but a small number of students got internships in Qspider or something.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are average, but they are neat and clean. Books are provided from the college library. Hostel facilities are not so good. the rooms are small, and the water facility is not good. Sports facilities are provided to the hostellers. The food quality is good, and the kitchen is neat and clean.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, and provide better guidance. Semester exams are difficult, but the students' passing percentage is above 65% in each department. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.
Other: I want to get a job in the mechanical sector, like the manufacturing sector.

The college has strong faculty and infrastructure, but average placements.
Placements: 70-80% of students in top colleges are placed during campus placements. The average package range from 8 LPA to 20-30 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Mahindra Tech, Infosys, IBM Global Services, etc., are our top recruiting companies. 85% of students got internships from our course at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc. The top roles offered in our course are positions in IT, software development, data science, digital marketing, cybersecurity, frontend developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-equipped classrooms with multimedia and internet access, with dedicated computer labs with modern software, and a comprehensive library with a wide range of resources. The hostel facilities, food quality, and other services vary significantly. Some hostels prioritize cleanliness, quality food, and amenities, while others may face challenges with hygiene, food consistency, or limited facilities. Student experiences often differ based on these factors, with some reporting satisfaction, while others express satisfaction with the food quality, maintenance, or available amenities.
Faculty: The college has helpful teachers who are approachable, supportive, and readily available to assist students with their learning needs. The relevant curriculum is crucial for making students industry-ready. It ensures graduates acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen fields. The difficulty of semester exams and the pass percentage vary by college and specific courses. Generally, universities aim for a pass percentage of around 40-50% for individual subjects, with some requiring an overall aggregate of 50%.
Other: A good course aligns with your passion, offers valuable skills for your chosen field, and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth. To enhance a course, improvements can focus on boosting student engagement, providing clearer instructions, and increasing opportunities for active learning. College events, including fests, play a significant role in campus life, offering students opportunities for social interaction, skill development, and cultural enrichment.

Study is really good. Placement is average. Transportation facilities are bad.
Placements: 20–30% of students are placed. Students are placed in IT sector companies. 70% of students got internships from CODEC IT Solutions in Java programming, frontend development, and backend development. In my course, I interned in Java programming from CODEC IT Solutions.
Infrastructure: Studies are good, library is also good, teacher-student relations are also good. Classrooms are average in condition, but labs are good with Wi-Fi. In the hostel, single, double, and triple rooms are available. Food in the canteen is also good. Sports and annual functions are good, but transport is bad.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but some guest teachers are not good at teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students ready to enter the industry. It is not difficult to pass the semester exams. The pass percentage is above 80%. Good for study.

This is the right platform.
Placements: I like it so much. 90% of students got placed from our course. The highest is 6 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA and the average package is 3.5 LPA offered in our course. 90% of students got internships from our course and in which companies are available, thanks. There were good placements in 2015. This is the best thing about the course placement.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are available. Hostel facilities include the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games. Good infrastructure and facilities, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted in this college. Pass percentage 7 CGPA. I'm satisfied with faculty.

I'm really satisfied with faculty members, infrastructure, and the placement section.
Placements: In our college, around 60% of students got placed in my course. In 2019, the highest salary package offered was 11 LPA. In 2022, the salary package offered was 8 LPA. This was the 2nd highest package offered in the mechanical engineering course. But the average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA - 6.5 LPA. About 40% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: In our college, 24/7 Wi-Fi is available. Our classrooms are good. Each department has labs. The library and a reading room are provided for all. Hostel rooms are average, like all colleges. But, the hostel food quality is quite better. We have 2 private canteens. Medical facility is also provided.
Faculty: The best thing about our college is that all teachers and staff members are helpful. All teachers are graduates. Almost all of them have completed M.Tech. The teaching quality is better than other colleges in Balasore. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester examinations are not so difficult. Students have to secure only 36% to pass the semester.
Other: This course is easy to understand for those who have some knowledge about machines.

My college is good at education but not in placements.
Placements: My college is not good at placements. The average package is 3 LPA. Not all famous companies came here. Other branches like electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, etc., have good placements. But in computer science engineering, there are no good placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and smart classes are good. My college is good in education but not in placements. Hostel and canteen are clean and also provide good and hygienic foods. Annual sports and functions are also held. The college infrastructure is good. The classrooms are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and good in their own fields. Also, gives us pre-placement training and a lot of things. During exam season, there are more security and CCTV cameras. So the exam goes very strictly and on exams squad also comes here to check.
Other: My batch is between 2022-26. I chose this field because I have so much interest in it. My college is doing a lot of events and fests. I have scholarships also.
