I learned a lot of things from this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The placement cell available is good. Many varieties of companies visited the campus for placements. Many students are offered good placements. I can't say about the placement rate and salary packages firmly because they may change every year according to the requirements. However, it's sure that you'll get good opportunities here.

Infrastructure: We have well organised practical laboratories, and the campus is spread over a huge area. Our buildings and classes are average, and the college also has a big playground. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The best part is the hostels were situated on the campus itself. This is very helpful for students to stay communicable.

Faculty: The college offers the B.Tech course in streams like EE, ME, CE, CSE, EEE, ET, and EI etc. They also offer other courses like MBA, MCA including (10+2) course which is recently started. The college maintains good values, and all the different streams and courses are given equal importance.

Other: The college offers special scholarships for the students who belong to SC,ST, and OBC categories. Scholarships are offered for the students who score more than 70% in their 12th class exams. They also conduct an annual function, and the Wi-Fi facility is also provide here. Medical facilities, bus services, canteen, and different stalls, etc., are available here.

If you just want to study, join this college as this college doesn't provide placements.

Placements: There is no scope of placements in BCET. You will get zero placements. It is a good college compared to other colleges in Balasore. Never expect any placements from this college. There is less than 5% chance to get campus placements.

Infrastructure: In BCET, there is a separate hostel for both boys and girls. In the classroom, there is no air-conditioner, but they will say there is an AC in the classroom. There are three shops in the college, and they serve fast food and all varieties of food. There is a big field to organise the annual sports and annual function.

Faculty: The faculty members in our electrical branch are very good. They will help you in the study, especially Mr Sashi is a very good lecturer. You can gain practical knowledge from here. Less number of instruments are available in the college. But, it is a better college in Balasore.

Other: Annual sports and an annual function named Korizima are organised in the college. Other events are also organised in the college. The campus connectivity is not good.

BCET is the best college of Odisha.

Placements: The placements are awesome. Big companies like TCS come here. There is a very good selection process. Selectors are very good. Their behaviour is very much good. Their questions are interesting. Our faculty helps us in placements. The companies give good salary. We are very much satisfied.

Infrastructure: Our college has 10 blocks. Each block has 5 floors. Each floor has 20 classrooms. Each classroom is very big. Flooring is very much fabulous. Roads are made of concrete. Bus facility is available inside the campus. There are colourful and attractive buildings. It is a fabulous construction.

Faculty: Faculty members are awesome. The course is fabulous and interesting. It is very much tough course but is interesting. Faculty members behave very well with us, like their own child. They teach us in a good manner and in understandable language. Fully high-quality teaching and best is provided.

Other: Charisma, the annual youth festival is very good.

Inspiration becomes reality, this is the tag line of our college and it's absolutely right.

Placements: I am selected in a campus recruitment, but I couldn't join due to long distance, and the company was not suitable for me. Compensation was very poor as this is an above company from Punjab. The company's name is Realeye CCTV Manufacturing Company Pvt Ltd.

Infrastructure: I am very grateful to enjoy my engineering career in our college. The infrastructure is really very good. Everything is available in our college. There are 3 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. Electricity was always available. Everyone is satisfied with our college infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty are awesome, I have never seen those type of faculty members because they are very dedicated to their work. The faculty are always helpful for students. The course curriculum was fantastic. Lecturers complete the syllabus as per the university norms.

Other: Scholarship, events, everything is available.

BCET, Balasore college review

Placements: The placement is not good. Only 3 to 4 companies visited and they were not reputed. In our batch, there are three companies which visited our college. The highest salary offered was 2.2 lakhs per annum. There were 5 students who got placed in our batch. The role given was trainee engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good and facilities offered here were a well-equipped lab and a computer lab with more than 250 PCs. The medical facility was available outside the college and there were various sports like cricket, football, volleyball, table-tennis, badminton, etc. Hygienic food is available in the canteen inside the college campus. The hostel rooms are good. In a room, there were 2,3,4 sharing rooms available. There are 4 hostels and from them, 3 were for boys and 1 was for girls.

Faculty: The faculty members are well=-qualified. They are very helpful and friendly with the students. The teaching methods are as per the industry requirements. The student-faculty ratio is 15 to 20 students per faculty member. We usually visit the Viper Balasore branch.

This college is value for money and offer regular class.

Placements: Placement in core branches like ME, EE, CE are maximum compare to other branch. Average package is 3LPA.90% student got placed every year with average package of 3LPA. In my course the roles are generally in industrial sector. Internship programme is necessary.

Infrastructure: Labs are full with all the equipment with good classes and library. Canteen and medical facilities are provided by hostel but it doesn't provide. WI-FI. Every branches had different block of building. Annual sport celebrates every year and we won the cricket tournament this year.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful towards the students. Teaching quality is very good in EE branch because I belong to that branch. All the course are curriculum related. This is under BPUT so semester are not easy. Pass is above the 95% in the college.

Other: I was interested in Electrical engineering that's why I followed this. In my opinion electrical engineering has future compare to other branches. A grand fest celebrates every year. Scholarship section is very good and useful.

Really good infrastructure and transportation system is available.

Placements: This year, above 40 students were placed in my course. The highest package was 5 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. There were many students who got an internship from the course, and the company name I don't know. The top role offered in my course was as a manager.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good, and the library and book facilities are always available. Classrooms are neat and clean. Lab equipment is workable, and every day, 2 hours of lab class are provided to all courses. Food quality is good in the mess. Sport and game facilities are also provided.

Faculty: Teachers in all the courses are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is quite impressive. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, and 2 internal exams are done in every semester by the college.

Other: I chose this course because I want to work in the electrical sector.
