The college offers workshops using maths.
Placements: Out of around 50 final year Mathematics students, approximately 32 students were successfully placed through on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives. Some students opted for higher studies (M.Sc., MCA, MBA), while others took competitive exams or joined coaching institutes as faculty.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors and whiteboards for interactive learning. The mathematics department has access to smart classrooms and AV facilities, especially for workshops and presentations. The central library is well-stocked with Mathematics textbooks and journals.
Faculty: Faculty members in the mathematics department are well-qualified and have strong subject knowledge. Most professors explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and understandably, using real-world examples when possible. Interactive teaching methods such as problem-solving sessions, discussions, and the use of visual aids (like graphs and models) are appreciated.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Mathematics because I have a strong interest in logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning. Mathematics provides a foundation for my career path, including teaching, research, data science, and finance. Bharath College offers a reputed program with experienced faculty, which helped confirm my choice.
