Review of BIET by a student.

Placements: As our course, AIML, is new, I can't say much about placements specific to our course. Yet, overall placements in our college are lower compared to higher esteemed colleges, with only a small percentage of students placed recently. Now that our college has become autonomous, there are better chances of improving placements.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The library is a bit small but manageable. WiFi is available only in the library. One issue with the infrastructure is that three different courses are conducted in just one building, which is somewhat problematic. The hostel infrastructure is good, and the meals they offer are also decent.

Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and highly educated, though many lack effective teaching skills, which is a major issue. The curriculum we follow is from VTU, which is somewhat complicated and includes some unnecessary rules, but it is generally student-friendly. The exams are moderate, and if a student prepares properly, passing them is manageable.

Placements: Artificial intelligence and machines learning is a new branch in biet Davanagere, only one batch had passed out, 65% students of AIML branch are placed with the highest package of 20 Lacs per annum and with average package of 4 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, AMAZON, DELOITTE And others, 70% of students got internship from the companies like TCS, WIPRO, AMAZON, ect. Top roles offered software developed, machines learning engineer and data scientist .

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is excellent especially for AIML BRANCH my personal experience, well ventilated classroom and have every facility, every classroom have a projector for quality learning, Each subject have its own lab, 24*7 Wi-Fi available in labs, classrooms and in campus everywhere. A huge library common for every branch, huge quantity and quality of books available. You can borrow books to home or hostel if you want. Digital library also available. BIET Hostel have every facility like 24*7 Could and warm water, well ventilated rooms, clean bathrooms and different varieties of food everyday. Caring wardens and good medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and well qualified and knowledgeable. Very good teaching quality. Immediately doubts are cleared in the classrooms and available in free hours for clearing doubts. Each student is assigned a mentor for discussing there problem in studies and other queries every week. Updated syllabus and curriculum, yes it make the students industry ready. Every year real projects must and should be done under a mentor. Mediate level difficult in semister exams. In our class previous sem pass percentage is 84%. .

Other: My ambition is to become a software engineer and I also had a interest in AI domain so I. Choose this CS allied stream. Best thing is to learn about roots, machines and AI. Etc. Every thing is very good. Events are organised all over the year by the students and there is a the biggest fest in our college which is celebrated once a year that is davana, the fest is very famous in Davanagere, friendly seniors, Ragging free campus, scholarship opportunities are there and notified by the respected scholarship staff for application of different scholarships. Sports Events are extraordinary .
