Most of the faculty members have good experience and few are having Doctorate degrees as well which shows their proficiency as well, nice way of teaching which goes along with this Criteria for admission is good. Over all placement is ok.

Other: The first thing one is sure to notice when he/she enters the campus of BIET is the college impressive academic building. However, something about which students often crib is that the placement is less as compared to other top engineering college of Karnataka. There is ground for outdoor activities such as cricket, football, basketball and volleyball. The college has comfortable classrooms. The professors are strict when it comes to academics and students are permitted late admission up to five minutes post the commencement of the class. The college canteen is small. BIET is usually visited by around 30-40 companies during its placement season.
