Faculty: Our faculty consists of highly educated professionals who are not only experts in their fields but also approachable and friendly. They are dedicated to providing quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment for all students. It is a good college with a good environment and quality studies.

Placements: Placements are not much here. But students are very talented. In the future year, the number of placements will increase. Many companies are interested in coming to the campus placements. In recent years, companies like Byjus, Cognizant, etc., have visited our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like academic building, an administrative building, hostels for both girls and boys, Wi-Fi, RO purification, lab for every branch, medical facilities, canteen, indoor and outdoor games facilities, good quality of food, library, computer rooms, etc.

Faculty: Regular intervals of exams, class tests, etc., are conducted here. Teachers teaching quality is good. They are very friendly and helpful. They clear all doubts and give regular notes of every subject. Semester exams happen every 6 months. About 8-semester exams are conducted in 4 years.

It has a good environment, friendly teachers, beautiful infrastructure, etc.

Placements: The college is new, so placements are few here. Recently we approached one company named Cognizant, which wants to hire employees from our college. Only 10-15 students got selected in the college out of 90. I am sure the number will change because of quality and innovative students in the future.

Infrastructure: The college has labs for different branches, a lift, a library, computer room, playground, guest house, staff quarter, workshops, solar power, etc. It has different hostels for both boys and girls. It also provides medical facilities, a canteen, a water purification system, multiple bathrooms, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is too good and very friendly. It makes students feel comfortable and ready to take pressure in any situation. They guide students for their competitive exams or interviews. The pass mark is 30 out of 70 in theory and 12 out of 50 in practical.

Other: I am a student of this college, and for me, it is the best college. It is a new college. It is now developing day by day, so I can say that this college will be the best for B.Tech courses.

Well-equipped labs and active campus life, but hostel and library need improvement.

Placements: I am from the 2024 batch of Mechanical Engineering. Around 60% of students get placed, with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 10 LPA average 4.5 LPA. The top recruiters include Tata Motors, L and T, and Mahindra. About 50% secure internships at companies like Bosch and Ashok Leyland, mainly in design, manufacturing, and maintenance roles. Seniors mention the importance of strong basics and practical exposure for better opportunities.

Infrastructure: The hostel provides clean, spacious rooms with 24/7 water, electricity, and reliable Wi-Fi facility. The mess serves hygienic but average food. The medical facilities are available on campus, and there are good options for indoor and outdoor sports and games to keep students active and engaged.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and covers industry-oriented topics, helping students build practical skills. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is usually around 85–90%.

Other: Mechanical Engineering at Golaghat Engineering College offers a practical, industry-relevant curriculum with experienced faculty and well-equipped labs. I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, but the infrastructure is good.

Placements: Highest placement package: INR 4 LPA. Lowest placement package: INR 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies: Byjus, NRL, etc. The percentage of students who got internships from my course and branch is 20 percent.

Infrastructure: No wifi, labs are good, classrooms are good, library is in bad condition, there is only one 90-capacity boys hostel available among 300+ boys and one 90-capacity girls hostel available among 250+ girls, there is no canteen available at our college, and there are no medical facilities available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is not so bad; at least they are trying to help us. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 30 percent. Exams are very strict.
