Dibrugarh University for engineering is good.
Placements: In mechanical branch the placement percentage is 70 to 80 percent. Most of the students get jobs in PSUs like OIL NRL Wipro Infosys TATA, JCB etc. The highest package is about 18LPA and the lowest is about 4 to 5LPA. Placement record is average here. OIL recurring is a lot in 2019.
Infrastructure: Library and labs are fine, not bad. Library is air conditioned. Classrooms are big and can accommodate 60 to 70 students. Hostels are average. Food there is also average. Medical facilities are also much better there. They do their work on time only.
Faculty: The difficulty of the exam is moderate. They are not so tough not so easy. Teachers are really good. Teaching quality I can say is much better than in other government colleges. Pass percentage is about 85 percent. The paper is about 70 marks and passing mark is about 27. The course is really good there.

Good experience at Dibrugarh University.
Placements: 30-40% of students got placed in the course of Mechanical Engineering. The packages vary from 4-10 LPA. Different companies like Bharat Electronics, Oil, ONGC, BCPL, etc., visit our campus. Many students got internships in Oil, Railway, BCPL, ONGC, etc.
Infrastructure: I'm very satisfied with the infrastructure. There are smart classrooms with smart classes, free Wi-Fi facilities, and special lab classes with machine studies. The facilities are well-managed. The hostels are also very good. There is a 24/7 running water facility, 24/7 free 5G Wi-Fi facilities, and clean bathrooms. Single and double rooms are available in the hostel. 1st and 2nd year students get a double room, and the last two years they get a single room.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well-experienced. Their classes helps mostly. They teach the topic from the basics to depth. Faculty members are updated with the knowledge demanded by the companies. So, most of the students are placed under their guidance. Semester exams are moderate to difficult.
Other: I have a dream to study Mechanical Engineering, and I also dream to study at Dibrugarh University. The best thing about Mechanical Engineering at Dibrugarh University is that all the subjects are covered practically in the smart lab.

Very peaceful environment in this college.
Placements: Around 20%-30% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are OIL, ONGC, BCPL, etc. Almost all students get a chance for an internship in OIL, ONGC, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college Infrastructure is quite good and facilities provided are average. Classrooms are well-equipped with TVs and projectors. There is a separate library for our department, apart from the central library of the university. Hostels are comfortable and spacious. Food in hostels is average, neither too good nor too bad. There is a health center open from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Grounds for volleyball, football, cricket, athletics, and an indoor stadium with a gym are available.
Faculty: Teachers are really talented and quite helpful. Students can take full advantage of the teaching available in the classrooms. Course curriculum, according to me, does make students industry-ready. Courses are structured according to Industry, which is a first in the Northeast. Exams are moderate. Students can score well if they pay attention in class and study regularly.

A good university, one can definitely go for it.
Placements: Around 10% of students gets campus placement from our department. Since, it is a university I don't have much knowledge about the placement scenario about other courses. The highest package was of about 20 LPA and lowest 5 LPA. Few top recruiters for my course are like ONGC , OIL . The internship scenario is very good to be honest. All the students gets the internship in ONGC, OIL, NRL etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided is good. Almost all the facilities that are needed by a student is provided. Free wifi, well constructed labs, classrooms. Even though it is a university and have a central library for all departments, my department has its own library for the students where one can find the books needed for the course. The hostels are also fine one can definitely go for it. The quality of the food is good, not much complain about it . Security is also good in the hostels. A health care center is also there where students gets free treatment. Sports is must . Every kind of game is played . Many sports events are conducted that too frequently.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and understanding. Very qualified teachers teaches. One can definitely asks doubts and all without and hesitation. Course curriculum is also up to date . It makes the student know about each and every thing that a today's student must know. The difficulty level of the semesters exam is fine. The pass percentage is more than 75%.
Other: I chose this course here mainly because of the placement factor. Here ONGC OIl and other well known PSUs comes every year for placement that too with a good LPA. And the university is easily communicable and friendly. One thing that could have improved is the road of the university in some specific areas. Otherwise everything is fine. Number of events are conducted here. The campus is very friendly and easily reachable. Not only studies it focuses on every field.

An honest review for my university.
Placements: Engineering, which is also known as a B.Tech course, consists of four branches:
1) Mechanical Engineering
2) Computer science Engineering
3) Electrical Engineering
And most famous one of the two colleges with petroleum engineering.
We have PG courses too, like P.Tech and M.Tech.
Our placement is good enough. Many companies like OIL, ONGC, and BCPL came to recruit us.
And we have very good internship opportunities too.
Our academic session started in July/August.
Infrastructure: A short summary of some facilities was:
1>Separate hostels for girls and boys
2>Rooms with basic amenities
3>Mess facilities
4> Wifi facilities
I rate it 4 because it does not provide some facilities as they promise to do.
The hygiene issue is one of the main issues among them.
Faculty: In the matter of fact, I just say that they were highly educated and very knowledgeable.
But one of the main issue is ego problem. They can destroy the student life by failing them in subjects.
But I must say exam papers were very easy. Anybody can pass the exam if they study well.
Other: It's my dream to be an innovator and do some innovation for societies. I don't want to study at this university.
It is my family choice because it is near my hometown.
If you asked me for improvement suggestions, then I suggest updating the course with time and stopping teaching outdated skills.
