Have some satisfaction as it doesn't have a good placement till now.
Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed, with salaries ranging from a minimum of 4 LPA to a maximum of 6.5 LPA. Core companies did not participate in the placement process. Most students secured internships with companies such as IOCL, ONGC, and ASTC. Companies like RDC Concrete and TCS come for requirements based on the student's academic performance.
Infrastructure: The engineering department has basic facilities. Labs don't have all the equipment, and the college infrastructure is also basic, but it does have Wi-Fi and digital classrooms. The hostel offers decent facilities, and the food in the mess is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. However, in our college, students are not industry-ready because there are no industrial training opportunities available. Semester exams are some difficult but the pass percentage of students is between 70% and 80%.
Other: Studying mechanical engineering is a dream I've had since childhood. This course has an interesting subject to learn.

Good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: 85%, oil, oil india, bedanta, central government jobs, student selected in oil and nrl of such good central jobs. In Assam such a good college. College was offered many internship to build up skill, college infrastructure was good. And in government way is this college was nice in placement.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi free of cost, labs are good, classroom cleanliness is not sufficient, library was not such in good manner, no discipline. And hostel is best for engineering life, suggest to stay in hostel not in PG and such rent room. Hostel was nice in all ways.
Faculty: Teacher was helpful in building a student growth, their knowledge, skill and to encourage to fly in the highest position. Teacher was qualify in very good university such as IIT, NIT, aec, jec, Guwahati university, Assam university etc., semester exam conducting in good manner, discipline.

Joke of a college, the Jordan Institute of Science and Technology.
Placements: It is a very bad situation in terms of placements; no top companies are coming. You have to go to another district to give an interview for the INR 3 lakh annual package. 2% of students get placement in our college. So if you want good package placement from a college, this is not for you.
Infrastructure: An old library is present without e-library facilities. Labs are not up to the mark. A hostel is just a place for boys to live; no good facilities are available. No medical facilities are provided. The college main gate is a showpiece; as the engineering college main gate cannot be opened.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Some teachers are not good, though. The course is good, but I cannot tell if it makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are good. Exams are conducted over a regular period of time in a good atmosphere. You cannot cheat on the exam.
Other: I cracked the CEE exam and got admission. Everything should be improved. No fest is going to be organized in this college.

It has the potential to become a great college, but the faculty are not that active.
Placements: Placements are not that good. If you are looking for placements, this is not a good choice for you. There are no placements provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The hostel life is quite good. There is free Wi-Fi, good food, freshers, farewell, etc., in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and good. Semester exams are not that hard, if you study even a little daily, you will pass easily.
Other: A lot of events take place, like college week, and a lot more.

One of the good science colleges in North East India.
Placements: As compared to 2025, this year, more than 50% students have been placed. The highest package offered by NRL is with a CTC of around 12 LPA, and the lowest CTC is around 3 LPA. Companies like Orc, Dalmia, and top companies, such as NRL, Oil, Tata, Mahindra, etc., recruit. About 30% got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are quite good, and labs are good enough to do things, and classroom are old but cleaned, and the library infrastructure is good. The hostel facilities are good, but the quality of food is just decent. The medical facilities are not good, but the sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and some of them are IIT graduates and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is moderate. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams' difficulty level is moderate, and the passing rate is 80%.
Other: I chose it because it's good, it has good faculty members, and industrial learning. The course needs to be updated. There are some events conducted in the college.
