It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata, Dum Dum area, for a Diploma in engineering course.

Placements: In our college, specifically in the EIE department, almost all students, except a few, get internships and placements. Companies like HCL, Wipro, Haldia Petrochemical, etc., visit our college to offer campus placements. The package ranges between 1.5-4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and libraries are okay, but the Wi-Fi facility isn't available here. Although labs are well-maintained. In labs, if tools are old, but they are still working well. The canteen serves enough food for our breakfast and lunch.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and supportive from the very first semester. The semester fee is reasonable, which makes education accessible for everyone.

Other: One of the biggest advantages is that the college is completely ragging-free. No political party is involved here.

Birla Institute of Technology has a good infrastructure. Labs are small with old lab instruments.

Placements: In our college, 80-90% of students get jobs through placements in many companies. My seniors are getting jobs through my college with a great package, with their numbers. Our college does everything to provide internships for students, maybe paid or free of cost.

Infrastructure: We have a canteen, more classrooms, a library, free Wi-Fi, and everything. We played every day at break time and enjoyed playing cricket and badminton. Every winter, it arranges a small football competition.

Faculty: Our college teachers are very helpful. They always help me to understand everything. We have teachers for all subjects. In labs, they help us to understand all things. They make us learn every single thing with more information, and also practically. We have good lecturers and a principal. Everyone is so great here.

This is a government college. There is no better college than a government college.

Placements: This is what we hear in our college, placement are very good. In our college, highest package offered is 13 LPA. The lowest package is a 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies such as ONGC, IOCL, NTPC, BHEL, etc. If you have 50% marks, you are eligible to sit for internships.

Infrastructure: Laboratories and library are quite good, and everything is well-organized. Classrooms are spacious and comfortable. Hostel facilities and food quality are the best part of the experience. Various sports and cultural events take place regularly, making student life enjoyable. Overall, this college provides a great environment for both studies and extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful and good. Teaching quality is very standardized and they have various degrees. But most of their way of teaching is not up to the standard. Some teachers treat students like KG children. This college, semester exams are not very difficult.

Other: Campus surrounding is silent with good placement.

Good placements from 2022 to till now (2025).

Placements: 85% of students got placed in my course in various companies. Good students get jobs in good companies. Average students get jobs in average or below-average companies. The highest salary package is 6.44 LPA and 3 LPA is the lowest salary package. In my course, Top companies are Larsen & Toubro Construction and Sigma Engineer Solutions. 100% of students got internships iS'Solar Energy Power.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on our college campus. All labs from 1st year to 3rd year are here except for 1st year. We have a chemistry lab. There is a big library with many books. The librarian is good. Here only a girls' hostel is there with 55 girls capacity. Many messes are near the college. Canteen food is hygienic.

Faculty: Teaching methods of our teachers are wonderful. We learn easily because of our teachers. Sometimes, they held our class in projector rooms or AC rooms. Teachers have a lot of knowledge. Semester examination is very tough because teachers become very strict. The passing percentage is 60%.
