The college is government-run, so only the admission fee is required. Fees are affordable.
Placements: There are a total of 50 students present in our class. The college is government, so only the admission fee is required. The college provides internships for all the students, which is also called RAWEp. The college is very good.
Infrastructure: All subjects have different laboratories like Soil lab, PBG lab, Ento lab, and also have an orchard for the horticulture department. Wi-Fi facilities are available everywhere, like in the hostel, classrooms, and even the library. The canteen facility is best. The canteen is located near the classrooms.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers is very good. They are very helpful and even help with your personal problems. Semester exams are difficult, but the passing percentage is 100%. This course is curriculum relevant and course offers many opportunities.
Other: I chose this college because it is practical-based, which is required for every farmer.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Package ranges from Rs 35,000 - Rs 1.5 lakh. The recruitment opportunities are junior research fellow (JRF), associate director of extension education, administrative offices, and several other jobs. Around 30-40% of students get placed in various companies. Top roles offered are crop consultant, farm manager, agricultural officer, extension worker, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. We have free Wi-Fi, labs, digital classrooms, library, etc. Hostel facilities with reasonable prices and mess facilities are available. We have free Wi-Fi and generator. The university has gym, football field, volleyball court, badminton courts, etc.
Faculty: Experienced professors are known for their expertise and they are very helpful in providing guidance to the students. 90-100% is the pass percentage. The semester exam is not very tough. All questions come from the syllabus itself. The duration of the semester exam is more than 2 weeks.
Other: The campus is very beautiful and has a peaceful environment.

The ultimate table of BNCA.
Placements: There are no internships but there is the 4th year that gives us an ELP experiential learning program that gives us the experience of working in fields and too much practical knowledge about real field work. There is RAWEP rural agricultural work experience program where we are placed in different parts of the state and are given a farmer to manage his field.
Infrastructure: There is no good Wi-Fi connection in the hostels. They are too slow or not working. The network connectivity is too poor in this area. The canteen is small. The is no proper medical unit means the doctor is mostly available. The rooms of the hostel are good enough.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough but they are mostly old faculty members. Teaching quality is fair enough. The course is relevant enough to teach us the real meaning of agriculture and all aspects of agriculture. Semester exams are not too tough but some may get a little hard.
Other: I chose this course because my father passed from this university, and I wanted to walk in his path as well.

The reality of ultimate BNCA.
Placements: Internships are for 6 months known as Rawep. It is provided to all the students. The salary is Rs. 15,000 for all students. Other jobs like ADO agricultural development officer are easy to get after the course. Jobs in various fertilizer companies are also easy to get.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have AC, Wi-Fi, and other necessary items like projectors. The library is really good and books related to the course are available. Hostel quality is average. Mess is also average as the quality of food is not so good. Only one canteen is available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have good knowledge about their subjects. The quality of teaching is good. One can clear doubts personally. The course is of total 4 years. Semesters are of two exams like mid-term and end-term. They are tough.
Other: I chose this course because I love learning about agricultural stuff. This course deals with the modern techniques of agriculture.

Biswanath College of Agriculture, AAU.
Placements: My batch has almost 100 students, with the majority being girls. Our college has a placement cell that keeps us updated about job vacancies in related fields. Various seed companies and fertilizer companies recruit agriculture students from our college. Many of our alumni have cleared UPSC and APSC exams, and several are working in NABARD and other banks.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is not extraordinary, but it is decent for us. Our hostels are well-equipped with Wi-Fi, geysers, and other facilities. Our classrooms are air-conditioned and have digital projectors. Our laboratories are also well-equipped. However, there is a slight hygiene concern in the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. The course syllabus is very diverse and includes science, arts, and business. It focuses on both theory and practical learning. The college conducts semester exams in two stages with midterm for 30 marks and end-term for 70 marks. The exams are generally neither very tough nor very easy. Every semester some students get backlogs in one or two subjects.
Other: I am interested in agriculture and I appeared in the CET UG exam. Based on my marks, I was allotted this college. The best thing about my college is the excellent teacher-student interaction. I wish my course would focus more on practical learning rather than theory. Our college organizes a fest named Luminux. The top 10% of students in each class are awarded a scholarship of Rs. 9,000 every semester.

    Students also asked

Q:   Can I become an Agricultural Entrepreneur after B.Sc Agriculture?
    A:

Of course, Agriculture and allied sector not only remained insulated from economic slowdown or pandemic but has registered better growth than other sectors. Other industries have faced the problem of downsizing during a pandemic but the agriculture sector remained aloof from lay-offs, pay cuts and forced resignations. There will never be a downturn or slow down when it comes to feeding the world population.
