About moderate good placement season in 2023.
Placements: Currently, the placement scenarios are not revealed, but top companies like Microsoft, Sprinklr, JPMC, Nomura, etc., offer multiple roles such as SDE, consultant, and analyst. Banks like Deutsche Bank recruit financial analysts. While the lowest salary goes to 6 LPA, and the highest to 50 LPA, you can expect an average of 15 LPA. I secured an internship at MultiGraphics Group from my branch, and many students get such kind of internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classroom labs, and library are of high standards, probably among the best compared to other institutions in our country. The quality of food is decent and manageable. Facilities such as sports and medical services are also very good and comfortable.
Faculty: Professors are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is really good. The coursework is really relevant according to the market standards, making the students industry-ready. However, the exams are very difficult, with a pass percentage of only 20% of the total course.
Other: All the events are absolutely good.

I am very satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students got placed in this course. The lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs 18,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, JP Morgan, etc. It is compulsory to apply for internships or you can do a thesis as an alternative option.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi is available and it provides 8 GB per day. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The library is very good. Sports are conducted. Mess is available. Canteen is better. There are many food outlets on our campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified from top institutions. The teaching quality is better. The courses have applications like laboratories. Grading is not up to the mark, but exams are tough. The pass percentage is 99%. Consultation hours are also conducted by faculty members.
Other: Everything is good except for the grading system. Fests are very good. The connectivity facility is the best.

Review of BITS Pilani - Goa Campus.
Placements: Almost 95% of students get placed every year in our college. Some students either choose to go for higher education or prepare for competitive exams. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Uber, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, etc. Around 100 students got summer internships in various domains including IT, electronics, finance, and product management. Students from the electronics and instrumentation branch got great offers in both IT and core sectors.
Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with many facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus for all students. The library is air-conditioned and has sufficient space to accommodate many students. The library contains a huge variety of books across various domains. Lecture theatres are available in our college. All places are well-maintained and hygienic. The food served in the mess is decent. A medical center is also available inside the campus, which runs 24X7. Hostels are pretty good, and restrooms are cleaned regularly. Hostels also have a common room where students can play table tennis, watch television, and have fun. Our college has cricket, football, and basketball grounds. Our campus has a student activity center that serves as a mind refresher for students.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified. They conduct quizzes, assignments, and seminars throughout the semester so that students remain consistent in their studies. There is a regular evaluative pattern. The relative grading system is followed in all three BITS campuses. Teachers conduct classes regularly, and an individual can easily score good marks. If a student has scored less than 10% of the total course weightage, then he is awarded an NC grade and has to repeat that course. The course curriculum is as per IITs, and some courses are more advanced than IITs.
Other: I opted for this branch because I am fond of electronics. One of the best things about this college is that it has no reservation system so you will find creme students from the country. Peer group is very supportive in our college. Our college conducts many events. One of the major fests in our college is Waves. Academic assistance is also provided to students based on their performance. There are two types of scholarships available in our college which are MCN and merit-based scholarships. MCN is awarded to students whose parent's annual income is less than 11 LPA and whose CGPA is greater than 6. Merit scholarships are provided to students who have scored a 9.5 CGPA.

Top notch campus crowd and competitive environment. Decent placement records.
Placements: Generally the placement record is decent in our college approximating to 100 percent placements. The top recruiting companies come for various fields such as IT, Core and Non Core. Some of the top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, Uber, Texas Instruments, Oracle, De Shaw, Walmart, Cisco, Nvidia, Reliance, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good providing Wi-Fi in the hostel rooms and all labs. Labs are well-equipped with modern instruments and are air conditioned as well. The quality of food is decent, sometimes it can be a little off the beat but they usually provide breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The hostel and mess fees are paid in advance. Almost every kind of sports is appreciated and there is a well-equipped gym with proper trainers.
Faculty: Teaching quality is no doubt top notch. Teachers are well qualified most of them have a Ph.D. in a specialised area. Since there is no reservation in Bits, so the competition is healthy and semester exams are a bit hectic because of the relative grading system in our college. There is no such pass percentage, it all depends on the grade, if it is below E, then is considered as NC (Not Clear).
Other: I gave the BITSAT examination and since I was preparing for JEE, I had made my mind to either go in IIT or BITS. Best things about the course is the placement records and the in depth knowledge of Electronics. As far as improvement is concerned, it can be made a bit student friendly as it seems a bit heavy. Events and fests are well organized and in fact our cultural fest Waves is one of the largest college fests of India.

Amazing campus, good placements. Overall, all facilities are available.
Placements: As I have heard around 80% of students were placed in the year 2019 but it has increased in the recent year 2021 and 2022. There was also a rise in the PPOs. The average CTC for Electronics and Instrumentation was around 11 lacs with the highest being 21 lacs. The top recruiters were companies like Phillips and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: BITS Goa has one of the best campuses given its location. The quality of food in mess and canteens is pretty good. There is a facility of night canteens open from 11 PM to 2 AM. There is a Student Activity Center (SAC) which is equipped with facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like badminton, table tennis, cricket, etc. You get an internet connection in each room. The library is big and has a variety of books.
Faculty: I am still in my first year so I can't say much about the teachers but the ones that I have had are very good. They help us clear doubts in the classroom and we can mail them personally as well. The course curriculum is quite relevant. In the first year, everyone studies the same syllabus no matter which branch you are in. You are taught the basics of every field. It is difficult to score in exams but I would say that they are not very difficult if you study consistently.
Other: I chose this course because I have a slight interest in electronic devices. I found the syllabus quite interesting. BITS Goa has a cultural fest called Waves which is said to be a big event.

Overall, it is a good college, but the fee should be less for this online semester.
Placements: In recent news about a year ago, it was stated that amidst pandemic in 2020, almost 98% of students got placed. Now, you can get an overall idea. The highest package that I know of is about 1.5 crores per annum for a CSE guy. The lowest package might be about 4-5 LPA, but it depends mostly on your branch and CGPA (very important). Many companies come here, like Amazon, Microsoft, and other tech companies. The core scenario is good. The first internship is offered after the 2nd year, at least in my case (EI), and it was an unpaid one. The criterion is that it totally depends on your CG. Now, the second internship is done during the 4th year, which is paid one (mostly).
Infrastructure: The hostels are good. Water tanks and bathrooms are in adequate numbers per floor. Wi-Fi is good, but sometimes there are lags. Labs and classrooms are good in pictures, but this pandemic era has deprived us students to got there, so I can't comment on those. Mess is good, and the meals are served 4 times a day. There are food areas outside too. Other general facilities are decent.
Faculty: The teachers are good, and every teacher has good knowledge of what they are teaching, but the way of teaching depends on teachers. You would find some teachers boring, in my honest opinion, but that totally is a subjective opinion. The course is curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready, and from seniors and faculty, you can get an in-depth insight. Semester exams are tough online. Scoring good grades is difficult, but devotion is the key.
Other: I got this course as a result of my choice. The best thing I would say is it does compete with EEE and ECE as it differs only in 3 or 4 subjects. Events are good and held every 3-4 months. The campus crowd is decent. Connectivity is good. There's an airport just about 4-5 km from college. The campus is lush green. Many types of scholarships are available, but the first one you encounter is CG dependent.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The college almost privides 100% placements. Majority of students go for software roles. Almost all top product-based software companies like Amazon, Flipkart and Microsoft allow electronics and instrumentation students to sit for their placements process. Among the core companies, the top recruiters are Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Western Digital and Xilinx. BITS has a concept of practice school which allows students to intern at a company for 6 months which usually helps students to convert their internship offers to full-time jobs.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and lecture halls are well maintained in our college. New embedded systems and IoT labs are being set up. Hostels are very well maintained, with all students getting single accommodation. Plenty of eateries are available on the campus apart from the mess and institute cafeteria. Food served in the mess can be improved.
Faculty: The college has good and average teachers. Some of the professors in the department are well renowned for their research. The course curriculum is relevant but still can be updated on the basis of current industry trends.
Other: I Chose electronics and instrumentation because I wanted to pursue electronics. A digital communication course should be included as a part of compulsory courses. Waves is the annual cultural festival of our college which ranks in the top 10 college fests of India.

BITS Pilani, It's Magic!
Placements: Placements are excellent. Almost every student who opts for placements gets placed. The highest packages go as high as 60-70 LPA for CS students. The average package comes to around 13-15 LPA. Top MNCs like Microsoft, Google, JMPC, Deloitte, Texas Instruments, NVIDIA, Goldman Sachs, etc. recruits directly from our campus. Many of these companies take pre-final year students for internships too. Companies like Arcesium paid almost 2 Lakhs per month to students for summer internship of 2 months. The placement cell of our campus is really very effective.
Infrastructure: BITS Pilani Goa has one of the best infrastructures in India. Though our campus is comparatively very young ( established in 2004), with all the ever-expanding infrastructure, it has made it to one of the best college campuses in India. The auditorium in BITS Goa is only second to BITS Hyderabad in its size in the entire country. The academic blocks and hostels are very well built and have all the facilities equipped.
Faculty: The course curriculum of BITS Pilani is on the lines of Massachusetts Institute of Technology which makes it unique and different from all the Universities of India. The Dual Degree system, Electives System, Early Graduation system and many others are unique features of BITS curriculum. The faculty members are very well trained and are excellent with their teaching techniques.
