Placements: Highest package (CTC) is about 58.09 LPA and average package is about 11.35 LPA .
Top recruiters are Cognizant, Adobe, Dell, Goldman Sachs, Larsen & Toubro, TCS, Bosch, etc.
There are high chances of getting internships here .
And also there are international technical clubs for every course.
Infrastructure: Hostels are equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi network and a snack vending machine, and provide drinking water. Every floor has a semi-automatic washing machine, and every hostel has a pantry in it.
Coming to food, here both North and South Indian dishes are served. They taste good compared to other hostel foods.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; if we approach them with a problem, they will help us.
Their teaching quality is very good, but when it comes to a person with low grades, he might find it difficult to go with the things.
The course curriculum is very good; here, we can do our minor in other courses irrespective of the school one is studying.
Here, we have a career development center which makes students ready for the industry.

Great faculty and good infrastructure.
Placements: Many students get their internship offer at the end of there third year, when many companies visit the campus for on-campus placements. There are students who get the pre-placement offer directly after the internship. Many students get placed and are offered a good package from companies including Brain, Oracle, Dell, Microsoft, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The mess food is really good here at SNU. There is BLD, as well as midnight and evening meals offered to the students. There are a good variety of food options available. The hostel rooms are spacious and regular cleaning is done in the hostels. There is a common pantry and washing machines are also available. The library is very big and well maintained. There is a gym as well, which is free for the students to use.
Faculty: The courses offered here are great. There are also project-based assignments that are given to the students. The teachers have good knowledge of their subjects. A strict attendance criteria of 75 percent is maintained here. There are practical labs that have many pieces of equipment for practical knowledge of the subjects. The quizzes and semester exams are of medium difficulty.
Other: There are good sports facilities, as an indoor sports complex is present here. There are a good number of fests that are being organized here.

Our college is better than other private universities in the country.
Placements: Our college had an incredible placement season in 2016. Around 33% of students received more than one job offer. Around 58 companies visited our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Dell, HP, Alta Metrics, Mu Sigma, and CSC.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and beautiful. Our campus is surrounded by 286 acres. The best part is that it is a fully residential campus, so there are no day scholars. The main USP is beautiful.
Faculty: All courses have a unique element. Our university focuses on research, which means while pursuing undergraduate courses, our college provides a lot of opportunities for conducting research or building a project. This helps us to understand technology at another level.
Other: Our college connectivity is good. Our college students are from different parts of the country.

I am satisfied with the faculty members, great events, and sports.
Placements: I am also a fresher, but as far as I have seen, placements are good. People of civil engineering are also getting placements easily. University helps students a lot in placements. We also have a career development center to help us in placements. Events are always going on for these.
Infrastructure: Everything I have seen till now is best in Noida wherein colleges of just name are running. SNU has state of art library. We also have horse riding, all other games including squash games and martial arts too with a dedicated area for all. Mess food is great and we don't have to pay if we don't want to eat from the mess. There are a lot of other options to eat.
Faculty: Teachers here are great, but that greatness comes at the price of extremely tough exams. As far as offline mode of examination, it is great too with all sorts of things to avoid cheating. We have tutorials for problem-solving with not more than 20 students, and some other batches are made for students who are weak in their studies.
Other: The best thing about B. Tech Mechanical is the state-of-the-art lab with everything you wish. You can also play games on them. In the library, we have LAN ports with a high-speed net to download/stream/enjoy anything. We also have a family head and 2 peer guides for all sorts of questions. Events/fests are going on all the time. Even clubs organise events with perfection. All the sports are available.

I would recommend students to take admission in this college.
Placements: Almost 95% of students are placed. But usually, 50% of our seniors preferred masters or PG programs for the mechanical outgoing batch. The average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA as a programmer in a software company.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure and courses and hostel facilities, I would say this is the best accommodation and hospitality students could ever receive. Library is one of the special attractions in our college with many discussion rooms and private rooms to study. The staff in the library are supportive. Quality of food is manageable, and students can choose what to order. No students should have any complaints regarding infrastructure. The class and laboratory facilities are great.
Faculty: Semester exams are tough than other colleges. The pass percentage is 40%, which may be 1 or 2 fail to achieve I have seen which will help to increase the standards. Teachers are helpful if students approach them. Teachers are qualified. It does not make students ready for industry. Students should prepare themselves by consulting industries on their own.
Other: Students should take part in various cultural or tech fest and in 2 or 3 clubs which will help in achieving a better social life in the first year, and just attend lectures regularly which is more than enough to achieve good grades.

Amazing university with one of the best infrastructure and teachers.
Placements: Over 90% of students get placed and get good jobs. Tata Motors, Eicher, Leyland, Schindler, Honda Motors are some of the top recruiting companies in the mechanical department. The average CTC is around 6-7 LPA. Many students get internships but many students are into the research as SNU in itself is a research-based institute.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch and everything is available ranging from
1. AC rooms if you opt for them in advance.
2. Great classrooms, hostel rooms, amazing multi-storeyed library, amazing sports facilities ranging from common sports such as cricket and football to uncommon sports such as golf and horse riding.
3. There is also an indoor sports complex with indoor running tracks, badminton courts, etc.
4. Food is of good quality and a lot of variety is kept to suit everyone palate.
5. The only con you can say is that there is a big common washroom and not an attached washroom in every room but one can pay some extra money in their 3rd or 4th year to get rooms with attached washrooms.
6. The campus is huge and lush green with its own nature reserve forest, a shopping mall, multiple cafu00e9's and restaurants.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and highly qualified as more than 95% are IIT alumni and ex-professors in IITs. A lot of effort is done to make sure students get a proper education. Teachers not only teach the subjects but help in shaping the personality of the students so that they incur professionalism which would help in the future when applying for jobs. The course curriculum for B.Tech Mechanical engineering is highly relevant and makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to take up mechanical engineering for B.Tech and I had received good reviews from some family friends and they all turned out to be right. The best things about my course are the amount of exposure we get due to many competitions which SNU has a knack for winning even over the old IITs. SNU has collaborated with Dassault Aviation and has set up a next-generation lab to work on 3D modelling and AI. The only thing I would say that should improve in my course is that it gets a bit hectic some days leaving a person exhausted bit again I think it makes us ready for the future. A lot of events get conducted throughout the year and are considered to be some of the best in Delhi NCR as there is a lot of unity not only when the enjoyment comes but during the process of organizing the event as well. Metro station is hardly 10 minutes away and a college shuttle runs every day and if not the cabs are also easily available. There is not much in the campus surrounding as it is a bit secluded but again due to this everything is provided within the campus so that there is no need to go outside. Scholarships are available and the criteria changes every year but usually it starts by getting above 90% in CBSE board examinations.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 15% of the total intake will be taken to Mech. engineering, about 50-60 people got average salary of about 6-7 lacs. Goldmann Sachs is one of the top recruiting companies, fully student oriented University, best thing about the university is the scholarships.
Infrastructure: Snu gives full facilities that needed for a student for his happiness, snu gives 14gb Wi-Fi per week, classrooms are well-equipped with all the facilities needed for student, library comprises of well range of books and LAN connection and labs are fully student friendly.
Faculty: Faculty is awesome and fully qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. scholars and they are friendly. Most of them are research oriented faculty that gives you practical experience with the theoretical knowledge and understanding the concept deep inside the box.

As SNU is private college do not worry for cutoffs they only need a jee main score card for formality and provide admission with fee you pay.

The Shiv Nadar University application form 2019 is available to the candidates from online mode only. The application form of UG courses can be filled till May 15 for round 1 and June 4, 2019 for round 2.
