A good opportunity for a great start.
Placements: I am studying at MIT, Manipal, ECE, in my first year. As of now, it is a great start, and I talked to many seniors, to summarize, I can say 90% placement in core streams. 99% placements in CSE, but it depends on your hard work, whether you are going in list of students who are not placed, and ample opportunities are given for higher studies.
Infrastructure: I stay in hostel block 5, room is small, but comfortable and sufficient. Moreover, depending on how you study, you get a choice of rooms, like if you are studying really good you have plenty of options in rooms like AC, non-AC, single seater, double seater, triple seater. But if you are not studying good and your CGPA is low, you have fewer options in room or sometimes the worst option or even no options, but then all rooms are good, it depends upon your needs. There is free Wi-Fi too.
Faculty: All instructions are given clearly, and we also get a trial chance to do everything, like answering a question or doing something in the lab. Student-to-teacher ratio is great, such that we can spend even 2 hours with them in their cabins. We also have multiple teachers in same subject, so we have an option to go to whichever teacher we like to solve our doubts. Whole syllabus is set in a way such that you need not go for extra coaching for GATE or other higher education entrance exams.
Other: Campus crowd is not a thing to worry about, if you have seen the crowd in VIT.

Placements: 60% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies include Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Tata, Wipro, etc. The roles offered depend on which companies you apply for. The highest package is 42 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. My course is Electronics and Communication Engineering, a batch of 2023-27.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the academic section and all hostels. Labs, classrooms, and hostels are well-equipped with AC and have very fancy infrastructure, as most buildings are newly constructed or renovated. The life and quality of the hostel are great. The mess is available near all blocks. The food is decent, and night canteens are also available. Medical facilities are available 24/7. All sports grounds are there on campus, including a swimming pool.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They provide help even during non-teaching hours. You can also contribute to research projects under their guidance. Exams are not difficult to crack, even if you study 10 days before. The pass percentage depends on the subject. The course curriculum includes soft and hard skills, which prepare you for real-life opportunities and projects.
Other: If you truly want to enjoy your college life, come to Manipal.

All you would want to know.
Placements: My batch is 2023-2027 electronics and communication. The percentage of students who placed is 60%. The highest package is 18 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA. The average package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Tata, Goldman Sachs, and many others. Top roles offered are mostly in the chip industry and other students applied for software roles.
Infrastructure: There are 25 hostels for both girls and boys. Wi-Fi is available on all hostel premises. There is very good infrastructure of labs and classrooms with AC and smart boards for displaying. The library is big. It has a 4 floor structure. The mess and night canteens are available in almost all blocks. Night canteens are open till 2 AM. The mess food quality is nice. All sports are available on campus grounds and pool.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They help us even during non-teaching hours. A mentor is there for every 5 students, so they can approach them for any query related to academic and non-academic issues. The course curriculum has both soft skills and hard skills which are necessary to solve real-life problems. There are mandatory projects we need to do. Semesters are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage varies from subject to subject.
Other: Manipal is known for its college life, fests and events. Revel and MS Utsav are yearly fests that take place. Many entrepreneurs, music artists, and people perform and guide the students. We can easily communicate with colleagues. It is very easy to get into the environment. There is nothing more I would want to add to this college life. It is a 360 degree complete fun.

Placements: See, as I’m in the first year, I don’t know much about the placements. The number of students in the fourth year is currently less, so the placements will be 100% this year. If we talk about the package and all, they say they are getting about 8 Lacs as a median package.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good here, as the mess is very different from the other college messes. Usually, in other hostels, there will be non-veg like twice a month or thrice a month, but here in Manipal, you get non-veg thrice a week and the food is also healthy. It’s not like the food is unhealthy and all.
Faculty: The faculty here is good. The teachers here teach well. The labs and all, they do it very carefully. The examination system over here is good and well. Like, it’s basically good for the students, as the students can’t cheat in the examinations, so they would have to study hard to get good grades.

My best decision was to join this college.
Placements: Around 85% of students were placed last year with a highest package of around 54 LPA and an average of 12.59 LPA. The lowest package offered was around 4 lpa.
Top recruiters were Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, etc.
The placement team here is really very supportive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really well maintained.
Classroom capacity is around 100 pupils and the classrooms are centralized air conditioned.
There are high-speed wifi facilities for all Mahe students in the academic blocks, hostels, and library.
The central library is really big enough and contains all research papers and journals in whatever domain you are interested in.
Hostels are also well maintained; cleaning of rooms is done every alternate day. Mess food is also hygienic and of good quality. Night canteens are also present in the hostel blocks.
All Mahe students have medical insurance in KMC Manipal, and they do not have to pay extra for the medical checkups. There are also ambulance services present 24*7 if needed.
There are 3 athletic grounds present here at MIT, with 2 basketball courts, 1 tennis court, and a gym. There is also a sports complex arena where all kinds of sports are there.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable and are working on their own research projects as well. They are really supportive and encourage students to get their queries clear.
Yes, the course curriculum is industry-relevant, making a student industry-ready.
Semesters exam can range from medium to tough and pass percentage is around 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I get ready for both the electronics and computer subsystems.
We have 2 fests in our college.
1) tech tatva (technical fest)
2) revels (cultural fest)
Both are really fun a lot of activities and events are held during these fests. Many celebrities like Aman Gupta, Javid Ali, Salim Merchant, Aakash Gupta, etc. come during these fests.
