What is the division of questions in BITSAT pattern?

The BITSAT question paper is divided into four section. For the Mathematics/Biology section, there will be 40 questions. Physics and Chemistry will have 30 questions in each section. Logical Reasoning will have 20 and English Proficiency will have 10 questions. There will 130 questions in the question paper.

BITSAT 2026 Result: BITS, Pilani has released the BITSAT score card 2026 for session 1. Candidates can now check their moderated scores through the BITSAT 2026 score card and check their performance in the exam. Note that the moderated scores may be different from the ones displayed after the conclusion of the test, but the moderated scores are final.

Based on performance in entrance exam, authorities will prepare BITSAT 2026 merit list. During counselling, two types of merit lists will be available.

BITSAT 2026 Admit List - This list will contain names of students who have met BITSAT cutoff. Students whose names are in BITSAT admit list will be called to participate in counselling.
BITSAT 2026 Wait List - This list will contain names of those students who will be called for admission if any seats remain vacant.

BITSAT 2026 Result: Tie Breaking Guidelines

Admissions into programmes offered by different campuses of BITS are completely based on merit and the scores acquired by candidates in the BITSAT 2026. Here, the candidates also need to ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria related to the minimum marks to be obtained in the Class XII Board examination or equivalent qualifying exam.

In a situation wherein two or more candidates have the same BITSAT score, a tie-breaker will be done as per the below-mentioned rules:

Scores of candidates in Mathematics/Biology (For BPharm) subjects in BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Physics section of the BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Chemistry section of BITSAT would be taken into consideration.
If the tie still exists, then the total marks of candidates in their Class 12 examination in PCM/PCB (for BPharm) will be taken into consideration.
