BITSAT 2026 Result: BITS, Pilani will soon announce the BITSAT 2026 result date along with the complete schedule. Candidates will be able to check their BITSAT result on the website, bitsadmission.com. Although test-takers will be able to check their obtained scores immediately after the BITSAT exam concludes. However, the moderated scores will be available only through the official BITSAT 2026 result.
It is to be noted that candidates will be able to download the official result in the form of a BITSAT 2026 score card. To download the BITSAT score card 2026, candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. Separate results will be released for the different BITSAT 2026 exam sessions.
Candidates who qualify based on the BITSAT 2026 result will be considered eligible to participate in the BITSAT counselling. Candidates are advised to keep the scorecard safe for future reference.

How to Download BITSAT 2026 Scorecard/Result?
BITSAT 2026 result will be released online. Candidates have to download result as BITSAT scorecard by following steps given below.

- Students will have log in with application number and password
- After logging in, result will be available.

Process to check BITSAT 2026 result if the candidate forgets their application number
If students forget BITSAT application number, they will still be able to download their scorecard using another option. Steps given below can be followed to check login.

- Click Forgot Application Number or Password.
- Students have to enter Registered Mobile Number, Email ID, and Date Of Birth.
- Click on Submit.
BITSAT 2026 Merit list
Based on performance in entrance exam, authorities will prepare BITSAT 2026 merit list. During counselling, two types of merit lists will be available.
- BITSAT 2026 Admit List - This list will contain names of students who have met BITSAT cutoff. Students whose names are in BITSAT admit list will be called to participate in counselling.
- BITSAT 2026 Wait List - This list will contain names of those students who will be called for admission if any seats remain vacant.

No. The BITS Pilani authorities do not announce the list of BITSAT toppers. However, if the list of toppers is released, the students will be able to access it here. Students will be scored as per their performance in the exam. If both exam sessions are attempted, then the best score will be considered for admission.
BITSAT merit list will be prepared after checking performance of students in exam. Merit list will be released as admit and wait list. Students in admit list will be eligible for admission, while those in wait list will be called in for next round of allotment.
The authority conducts the BITSAT exam in two sessions. The BITSAT 2026 session 1 exam is scheduled from April 15 to 17, while the session 2 exam will be held from May 24 to 26, 2026. Candidates can appear in any one or both sessions. In case students appear for both the best of the two will be considered.
BITSAT 2026 Result: Tie Breaking Guidelines
Admissions into programmes offered by different campuses of BITS are completely based on merit and the scores acquired by candidates in the BITSAT 2026. Here, the candidates also need to ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria related to the minimum marks to be obtained in the Class XII Board examination or equivalent qualifying exam.
In a situation wherein two or more candidates have the same BITSAT score, a tie-breaker will be done as per the below-mentioned rules:
- Scores of candidates in Mathematics/Biology (For BPharm) subjects in BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
- If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Physics section of the BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
- If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Chemistry section of BITSAT would be taken into consideration.
- If the tie still exists, then the total marks of candidates in their Class 12 examination in PCM/PCB (for BPharm) will be taken into consideration.

If two or more candidates have same marks in BITSAT exam, authorities will use tie breaking rules. By following guidelines, tie will be broken and scores will be used to select students for admission.
To break the tie in the BITSAT score, the Mathematics score will be considered first. For BPharm admissions, the Biology score will be considered. If these scores are still unable to break the tie, then other subject scores will be checked by the authorities.
The 12th standard PCM marks will be considered to break the tie in the BITSAT score. If the tie remains after checking the entrance exam subject-wise score, then the 12th standard qualifying exam marks will be used to break the tie.

Yes. There will be no separate counselling process for the different BITS campuses. Students will have to participate in the centralized counselling for admissions into their preferred campuses. The list of preferences have to be submitted during counselling for allotment.
During BITSAT counselling, students will be allotted according to rank and preferences. Allotment result will be announced in form of iterations. Once students are allotted, they will have to confirm their admission.
Through BITSAT, the students will be eligible for admissions into the three BITS campuses, which is in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. During the counselling process, the students can given their campus preference and it the cutoff is met, then they will have chances of admission.
Students who are 12th standard board toppers are eligible for direct admissions through BITSAT counselling. These students do not require a BITSAT score and will be eligible based on their board exam performance. Basic eligibility criteria has to be met.
