The selection process for the BTech programme at BMS College of Engineering has the following criteria:

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 and PUC with at least 50% aggregate, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and English as one of the languages.
• Selection is done through either KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA along with KEA Counselling or COMED-K entrance exam along with COMED-K Counselling.

Step 3:  On the next page, click on the 'Counselling Registration' Tab

Step 6: Click on the ‘Document Upload' Tab and upload all the required documents. 

Step 7: Frequently check the application form and email to keep a track of the verification status of uploaded document.

MBA course cutoff at BMS College of Engineering in 2025 has not been released by the college yet. Candidates who have passed Diploma or equivalent examination with a minimum 45% aggregate (40% marks in case of SC, ST and backward classes candidates from Karnataka) are eligible to apply for BMS College BE admission through lateral entry.

• Candidate who have a BE/ BTech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Tech programme. BMS College eligibility criteria for MBA programme is a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% marks for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) taken together in all the subjects including language subject.
• Candidate who have passed the Bachelor’s degree examination with Mathematics/ Statistics/ CS/ Computer Application/ Computer Programming/ Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) can apply for BMS College of Engineering MCA admission.

BMS College of Engineering mostly takes entrance based admission but also offers a management quota available to aspirants of BE. Candidates should have attained at least 60 percent in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or related subjects at Class 12 under this quota. The direct admission is on the availability basis.

BMS College of Engineering is good for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) based on several factors. According to BMS College of Engineering NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during BMS College of Engineering BTech and MTech placements 2022 was INR 8.24 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively.
