Good placements and Excellent Teaching.
Placements: Since BMS is the top college, there will be 90-95% placements in top engineering branches like CS, ECE, IS, whereas for other branches, it is nearly around 70-85% placements. Many companies visit our college and take bulk students for their office works and industry.
Infrastructure: Students have the facility of using the library, where the college issues the library card allowing one to take a maximum of 3 books. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and neat benches. Professors explain processes using both PPTs and class boards, making it easy for everyone to learn.
Faculty: However, engineering is challenging for everyone. In BMS, professors are friendly and helpful. They guide you in projects. There are 8 semesters in engineering college, and the curriculum is good, related to industrial knowledge as well.
Other: For a year, there will be Utsav and PhaseShift, where college students can present their projects and gain practical knowledge.

Our college has good placements, faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Approximately, 200 companies visit our campus for placements. Recruitment was good in fields related to IT like computer science, information, electronics and communication, telecommunication engineering. There were core jobs only for chemical, mechanical and instrumentation engineering.
Infrastructure: We have good Wi-Fi coverage in the college and LAN coverage in the hostel. The mess was very good. Students were given the opportunity to run the mess. The hostel was clean and hygienic. Hostel month was organised for hostellers, which was a 2-month long fest having more than 15 sports events and 10 cultural events.
Faculty: The course was planned as per the latest standards in the academic world. Our college is accredited by NBA. It focuses more on practical and objective based learning. Students were given an opportunity to change and modify the syllabus. As it is an autonomous college under VTU, question paper was set by the college.

Good faculty and infrastructure to bring the best out of you.
Placements: BMS College of Engineering is known for its huge campus, and it's teaching faculty, due to which it attracts high-end companies offering tremendous job offers to students. It is an autonomous college, and the percentage of students getting placed each year is above 95%. The lowest salary offered has been 4 lacs per annum, and the highest was 40 lacs per annum. Students were offered jobs in core companies, and it wasn't like you are doing chemical engineering, and you will get a job in some software company. Students are given enough companies to choose from. The companies are all reputed companies offering high posts due to the high standards of BMS students. You can more or less assume this college to be a brand, and not just a brand name but the college provides all the facilities and amazing surroundings to get the best out of you and offer the best to you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is huge. The college is spread across 12-15 acres of land with good facilities for each course it provides. Free Wi-Fi is provided to all the students. There is a huge sports complex for basketball, badminton, tennis, wrestling and weightlifting which are all played indoors. Outdoor games are cricket, football, hockey, throwball, etc. The college is not short of any sport, and if you are good, it will encourage you to be the best. There are about 5 canteens that offer delicious and hygienic food. Each building is renovated almost every year. A huge building was built recently, and it has world-class infrastructure and a perfect environment for studying and extracurricular activities like debates, MUN and quizzes.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful. One can take their help via their e-mails or WhatsApp. The teachers also stay up late for clearing students doubts. Teachers use good means of teaching like bringing the machines to classrooms or via PPTs. There isn't much industry exposure, but there are internships through which one can get loads of learning and exposure.
Other: The college conducts a lot of events. It also hosts one of the biggest events in South India named Utsav with a crowd from all over India. The college will help you in networking with people from other countries through internships and other competitions. The campus is surrounded with good greenery and has good outer surroundings for hanging out. There are a lot of extracurricular activities conducted along with studies which make you the best in every aspect.

BMS college of engineering - one of the best in Bengaluru.
Placements: There is a placement cell at central level as well as student driven committees at department level. All the major recruiters are present at the campus. Most of my batch mates went for higher studies (appprox. 20-30% of the batch). Rest who sat for placements got placed. The average package was around 4 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Area wise a bit small, however in house facilities are good like library, sports complex, canteens, hostels, labs, classrooms etc. Location is really good. Close to all the cool places around Bengaluru. There is Wi-Fi facility available. Quality of food in mess is okay, considering its a south indian mess and I'm from north.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. Curriculum and teaching methodology might be a bit old school. Administration is also a bit laggy. Industry exposure was not much except 2 or 3 trips in 4 years. Student-faculty ratio in my department was good. Teaching quality was average.
Other: Great cultural and technical festivals. Huge participation.

Best college in Southern India to get an College degree.
Placements: Many reputed companies come for hiring students. Even the pay grade is high. One of the most reputed institute in India with students from all over India and abroad. The students for the college would get high paying jobs. The college shows interest in internships.
Infrastructure: Very nice infrastructure with new building under construction and will be available for the next semester. Nice indoor stadium for badminton and basketball. The Wi-Fi of the college is very fast. It has a library with vast collection of books, it also has a playground.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are Ph.D. qualified. The time table is student friendly. The teachers are very supportive at the student-faculty ratio is 60:1. the quality of teaching is very high. The teaching methods of the teachers are student friendly. Teachers encourage students in all ways.

The college has pretty good placements in 2016,2017 (CSE, ISE, ECE).
Placements: If you are keen to get placed in software sector turn this college. It would surely live up to your expectations. For branches like CSE, ISE the placements are close to 98%, and the maximum package goes up to 30lakhs per annum. Apart from strong placements even companies like Microsoft, Oracle visit the college for giving internship. If you are good in software sector to believe me this college will live up to your expectations. For branches like ME, I won't suggest you because the placements are not that good.
Infrastructure: If you are a sports lover, then this college is the perfect place for you. Every semester they provide you with the opportunity to take part in cultural activities. When we talk about BMSCE food the food, is average but if you compare with colleges like MSRIT, RV the food is pretty good and the hostel rooms are quite good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are GATE rank holders and have done their PhD from various IITs and IISC. So the faculty members are quite good after all it's not a school where you will be given spoonfeeding. If you have interest, the faculty members will help you a lot.

Overall, the college is one of the best colleges in Bangalore.
Placements: The placements in the college are very good. It is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. So, a number of reputed companies visit our college with a decent offer. And, sometimes they provide great offers. This year, the placements have started, and almost 80% of the students got placed, the remaining have opted for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It is not too great and not poor. Since it is in the centre of the city, so the area is far and good than others. The buildings are well developed with lights, power source, etc. The block for postgraduates is great. But still, for under grates also, the blocks are nice. But, places for sports are quite restricted. We don't have fields for everything. The football ground is fully muddy. As far as the library is concerned, it has one of the biggest libraries in Bangalore. And, the library consists of all the books that you can think of.
Faculty: The faculty here are great. All the professors are well qualified, their way of teaching and expressing the subjects are also good. They all teach very well and are successfully deliver their thoughts to all of us. They support the students as much as possible.

College for all-rounders considering all aspects like education, infra, sports and placements.
Placements: Placements are very good from an overall point of view. But if you just compare, IT companies play a prominent role since it is Bangalore. For other branches, there is a good amount of core companies. The highest and lowest salaries offered were around 20 lakhs and 3 lakhs respectively. More than 100 companies visit for every batch and placements should not be an issue. Internships are provided by some companies and training by the college is also given. The average package will be around 3-4 lakhs.
Infrastructure: BMSCE is located at the heart of city and travelling should not be an issue. Since it was built on 1947, doesn't mean that it is old. All buildings are pretty decent with lifts and greenery around. The new building is also started constructing and that would be great. There is an indoor stadium where most games are played, a gym, library and digital library, 4 canteens, etc. The food is pretty good. The hostels are inside the campus while some are outside. It has one of the best hostels including the international hostel, so thumbs-up to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and there are mostly Ph.D. and M.Tech-qualified faculty members from foreign and IIT universities. It varies from branch to branch, but I am pretty sure there will be a good faculty member whom everyone likes. They help you regarding the course and industry-related things. However, it depends on students to learn.
Other: It is one of the best colleges with providing all-round development, not just in studies but also in clubs and sports. You will not regret after you graduate. If you want to be good in studies it is excellent, or if you are good in sports, it has the best history in sports. If you want to like participating in extra activities, I am sure you can't count the number of clubs. Finally, there are 2 best fests; the technical fest being Phaseshift and the cultural fest being Utsav, which is familiar and the best fest in Bangalore.
