It has been worst placements for our course as there were no core companies for the placements but only software or the consultant based companies and the BPO.

B.E. in Information Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.2

A very decent college with good academics and placement, but it all depends on your hard work.
Placements: Our seniors batch, which is 2025 passout batch, had an approximate ratio of 90% and the highest package was of 26 LPA for ISE, which was from AWS, and the highest package, including all departments, was 33 LPA, and the roles usually offered are mostly ADE, support, and testing roles. Internship for 2026 has already started, and approximately 30% final year students have an internship in hand.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but I have heard that the hostel food is good and has varieties for both North and South Indians. College infrastructure is good. It is mostly a green campus. But the labs are very well-equipped, and the canteen food is good, but a bit costly.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders and have great knowledge, and they also conduct industrial visits and workshops apart from studies. But in recent years, like the 2024 batch and onwards, due to more intake of students, the quality of teachers is reducing.
Other: BMSIT fest is good compared to other colleges, and it happens for 3 days. About the crowd, till 2024 it was good, but now the quality has decreased as they are taking more intake of students from last year, that is 2025.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.2
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Here are all the pros and cons of my college.
Placements: In Computer Science and Engineering branch, a total of 203 students registered for placement, out of which 153 got placed with a placement percentage of 81.03%. Highest, lowest, and average packages for our course were 46.4 LPA, 3.5 LPA, and 8.97 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies for our course were Dell, HP, Flipkart, Amazon, and many more. A total of 1303 internship offers were made, out of which 601 were paid internships.
Infrastructure: My college has basically three blocks, which are lab block, academic block, and BSN block. In all these blocks, our regular classes took place. All classes are big enough for sitting as well as CCTV cameras are installed in each and every classroom. College library is located in BSN block, and it is very well maintained with a large variety of books, and everything is available there. My college has its own stationery shop, a cafe, and a canteen, which is student budget-friendly. College canteen and mess food quality is at a very good level.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for each and every student, and they are well qualified with a good knowledge in every field. This course is very relevant for our future goal as it covers all the basic and advanced knowledge required for cracking a good job. Two internal exams and a semester exam took place every semester in our college, in which sem exams are of an average level, and almost 90% students passed with a CGPA of 7 or more.
Other: I took admission in this college because it is situated in the Indian IT industry, which is known for its placement. CSE has a very good future in upcoming years, that's why I have chosen this course. Things that need to be improved in my college are like some good grounds for various sports and games, as well as some good teachers for one credit subject. Two fests take place every year, named as Kalarava and Utsaha in our college in odd and even semesters, respectively. Campus crowd is very good, with a variety of students from different parts of the country, with green surroundings.

Good infrastructure. Placements are bad. Overall, an average college. It is better not to join ISE.
Placements: Many unplaced students struggle to have an offer letter in hand, while some have 3 to 4 offer letters just after clearing the online exams with the help of their friends. But this doesn't matter to some companies as they see beauty standards and social skills, especially companies like SAP. So no matter how bad you are at DSA, you need not worry. Just be confident and flex as much as possible in interviews. Many get internships outside the college through influence as well. In the end, don't believe in this college. Everything depends on your luck and show-off skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi can be improved. Don't go to BSN. You will struggle even to make a call there. Washrooms in the academic block are the worst, especially the ground floor washrooms of all the blocks. The amphitheater is really good, but it's no more. All credit to the wonderful college management. During our time, the canteen contract was changed due to a student suffering from food poisoning. Beware, newcomers. Spend your money wisely on college amenities, as everyone already pays heavy tuition fees collected mercilessly every year.
Faculty: Honestly, the lady teachers in ISE are more supportive of boys, often due to opposite-gender attraction. As a girl, I truly face this bias. Some teachers are downright toxic. If you are studious, act like you have doubts, and speak up to the staff, you might earn better internals. Labs are terrible. Even teachers do not know what they are doing. Study independently to survive. Aim for a CGPA above 8. If it is below 7 without skills, you are screwed. ISE teachers are judgmental and show favoritism, and politics among students is real. It is harsh but true. Just stay focused and do not rely on anyone too much.
Other: ISE is the branch I ended up joining. It is the most hyped branch in this college. Our seniors from ISE have 95 percent placements, and many ISE students participate in hackathons. Later on, I experienced that this batch is more of an experimental batch, and we have subjects like Environmental Science and Universal Human Values, whereas our juniors have Python, C++, etc., as their core subjects. Instead of improving the course, the college should focus on improving fair placements so that everyone gets placed, instead of one person getting 4 to 5 offer letters. ISE teachers ruin all extracurricular activities by giving loads of assignments, projects, and other unnecessary tasks. Even if you go for a volunteer in these timepass clubs, don’t hope for the Outgoing Student Award. It is given to only one student in the whole department. Join clubs, especially IEEE. Don’t ever believe your friends. Everyone will betray you at some point. All the best, and strive for your betterment without unnecessary distractions.
