Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Good marks are needed for placements in reputed companies. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infotech, and CTS visited the campus. For electronics and telecommunication, there are several options open for both software and hardware. You have to learn programming along with your normal subjects.
Infrastructure: The campus is not so big. It has a small ground inside and buildings are different for each stream. The classrooms are well maintained and they have all sorts of good infrastructure. There are also smart classes providing e-learning with projectors and screens. Some classes have air-conditioners. Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are in good condition. Many books are available at the library.
Faculty: Teachers are the main highlights of the college. They are well qualified and most of all are very much helpful and friendly. Apart from academics, they help you in other activities like career guiding. The exams are a little bit tough but they are well organised. The pass percentage is 25%.
Other: Electronics and telecommunication course is nowadays a very much valued course from the perspective of getting jobs. You can run your own business with this knowledge. There are some problems with ragging in college but that is quite natural in engineering colleges. Apart from that, everything is alright. Fests are held on every occasion.

It has good infrastructure, lab facilities, and good placements.
Placements: The placement package from our course went up to 4.4 LPA from L & T, and the average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA from companies like WIPRO and many other small startups. ATLAS COPCO offered a  salary package of 3.6 LPA, which was also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fair enough to gather knowledge. There are no hostel facilities, but the canteen, labs, and library are up to the mark. College tournaments are also organised. Students are free to participate in inter-college tournaments and functions as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and they help a lot. They are well qualified and have experience of about 15 to 25 years. They help every student, irrespective of their qualities. They even give good guidance regarding higher studies or placements after completion of the course.
Other: I chose this course because I had a keen interest in learning about semiconductor devices and making a path to core electronics companies.

It is a good campus with highly qualified professors and healthy ambiance.
Placements: Likely, 30% of students got placed in our college and the rest of the students opted for higher studies (including me). The highest salary package given by L&T Infotech was 4.44 LPA, Infosys was 3.2 LPA, and Wipro was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 1.8 LPA - 2.2 LPA and there are tons of offers with this salary package. Top recruiters were Atlas Copco, Wipro, Simoco, LTI, Infosys, etc. There were no internship offers given by the college, but students can opt for internships themselves. The college will provide NOC in that case. The roles offered were junior system engineer, service engineer, and junior supervisor.
Infrastructure: Our college was loaded with all amenities like Wi-Fi, digital and analog labs with all lab equipment. There were few digital classrooms also. The library was also available with a good collection of books. There was no college hostel but the college union can arrange PGs if opted at the time of admission.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly qualified. Most of them were doctorates and alumni of Jadavpur University mostly, so no question for teaching quality. Although prerequisite is mandatory. If someone takes this course seriously, the course is designed such a way that it can develop a student industry-ready practically. Semester exams were conducted by the WBSCTE board. The pass percentage was 35%.
Other: The best thing is that if anyone wishes to pursue engineering and failed to get a good college in JEE, they can opt for a diploma without wasting one more year of preparation. After a diploma, higher studies is also possible. There was one cultural fest which was enjoyable. It was loaded with tech fest, music, dance, etc. A scholarship was given by Tech Mahindra for diploma engineering students.

It's one of the best polytechnic colleges in West Bengal. So, you can take admission here.
Placements: In our college, electrical and mechanical students get 100% campus placements with a satisfying starting salary package. Computer science and electronic students get 50% campus placements with an average salary package of 1.5 LPA as per previous statistics. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Daikin, HTC and Ashok Leyland visit here every year many times or few times.
Infrastructure: Our campus is comparatively a bit small than other polytechnic colleges as it's in the central part of Kolkata. However, in spite of that, there is a great infrastructure with lots of labs and workshops, as practical works are paid more attention here. As the campus is in the central part of Kolkata, good street food is available at a very low price. The campus is situated at a distance which just takes 2 minutes to walk from NRS government hospital and Sealdah railway station.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are mostly academically top students during their tenure. They have deep knowledge and are polite in nature. They pay attention to students and even personally. But you should only have the wish to learn more. Our college provides industrial workshops, along with internships in various companies.
Other: It is a government-sponsored college, where the total course fee for 3 years is hardly like Rs. 6,000. The fee structure is really low for students. Our courses are highly focused on practical work and knowledge. It's one of the best courses if you are trying to learn from the basics and do it practically. The total crowd here is 1,000 students. So, the interaction between students and the environment are homely and friendly. There are no raging problems.

The college where dreams become possible to achieve.
Placements: I have not yet passed out from the course, so I do not have placement data. But I heard from teachers that placements of the ETE course students are good, like 60-70 percent. I did not hear anything from our seniors, nor did I ask them about previous years. Since I arrived, no batch has passed yet.
Infrastructure: My college doesn't provide any hostel, neither for girls nor for boys. My college is currently in the construction phase. Due to being quite old, the main building, or general classrooms, are in that phase. The other buildings, like department-only buildings, feature pretty good facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. A few teachers, like 1 or 2, are very egotistical and do not provide much help. All other teachers are very helpful. They help us with questions and answers of previous year question papers before our exams.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my interests the most. I wanted to take computer science and technology, but at the last moment, I did not take that and took this course instead. The best thing about my course is that it teaches us fundamental things about different electronics components and learn how they work. We also learn to make different automated things in our course.
