Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2027

A great place for my takeoff toward success.
Placements: It all depends on how much money you spend in college. Placement architecture is not something college gives you on a platter; you have to work hard to make a portfolio. Yes, guidance will be given to you by the faculty. But in a nutshell, you have to work by yourself.
Infrastructure: The college building is great—yes, a small, single-story building but designed by Le Corbusier—and the college infrastructure is great. Boys hostels are 3/5 infrastructural, but girls hostels are 5/5. Both hostels have occupancy rooms. You get good food, good rooms and some good seniors as well.
Faculty: All the faculty are helpful and nice. College is in itself a knowledge-boosting place. It is also well maintained and very good. Exams come from PU. Exams are not very difficult; the average student can pass them. The curriculum is according to the guidelines given by the Council of Architecture, India.
Other: Crowd and campus life are a bit struggling. You will find different kinds of people—juniors and seniors, even super seniors sometimes. Dealing with people is what college life will tell you and surely college will change your perspective on design as well as your thinking about life.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and relevance to the course. Placement could be better.
Placements: Most of the students get placed by themselves only by using resumes and portfolios. But if they face any problems then college helps with the placements. Top recruiting companies nare from Chandigarh or Delhi NCR only. Top roles offers are fresher architects and interns only in B.Arch.
Infrastructure: Yes Wi-Fi available. And A great library with all the facilities and all the labs are centrally air conditioned with all the useful facilities. Yes there is a hostel for the college within the campus only which is used by most of the students for outside Chandigarh.
Faculty: Teacher are highly qualified. And also teaching quality is good. Yes the curriculum of course is also relevant and also helps making the students industry ready. Its a great course with great faculty and relevance. Semester exams a little on the higher side and passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I wanted to pursue architecture and also live in tricity. That's why I chose this college.

It is the best architecture college for students to join.
Placements: In architecture, there are no placements. However, most of the students from our college go abroad for their internships. Only a few students do internships in India on their own as per their choice. You get great exposure to things here, which develops our personality.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is great as per the fee paid by the students as you just have to pay the fee of Rs. 6,000 in the first semester. Later it is just Rs. 2,000 for further semesters, which don't include mess charges as those charges depend on you what you eat. Overall, Rs. 2,000 is far less for the services provided by them. Girls hostel washrooms are well maintained.
Faculty: Staff members here are pretty fine and are cooperative, but you learn a lot from your seniors in this college. They teach you not only about studies but also develop your professional skills. The course curriculum is pretty good, and it enhances your creative skills as well.

Chandigarh College of Architecture is one of its kind.
Placements: The placements in architecture are based on the quality of your work or skill that the respective student has attained in his course. He is also judged on the basis of his portfolio that he has made out of all the projects that he has worked on so far.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very mind-blowing. It is a 5-acre campus. It is designed by the chief architect of Chandigarh, a French architect, Le Corbusier, he is one of the best architects till the date. He made sure to make space interesting and interactive in all possible ways.
Faculty: The faculty are very experienced and understanding. They make the students attain all the knowledge in a very good and depth way. The way of working is very interactive. Students make the most out of their potentials. All in all, it is a good learning experience.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Chandigarh College of Architecture offers only MArch and BArch courses. The candidate can get direct admission to MArch but for BArch, the candidate needs to score a minimum vaid marks in JEE Mains or NATA exam.
