Good college with the best placement record.
Placements: 85 to 90 percent of students eligible from the CSE branch successfully secure job offers during the campus placement drives so that's why I chose this university. I recommend this university to all junior friends to grab more opportunities and get a good placement.
Infrastructure: The campus features Wi-Fi. Labs are well-maintained and air-conditioned. Classrooms are well cleaned and comfortable for students for study so I am very comfortable in class.
Faculty: The teaching staff of CGC University consists of qualified professionals with many professors holding or actively pursuing their Ph.D. degree, while junior faculty members possess a Master's degree M.Tech. Teachers are very helpful to students with study matters.

Placements: Maximum students are placed in this course. The highest package is 1 crore per annum. The lowest package is 10 LPA. Well-developed companies recruit from our course. Above 85 percent of students got placement in well-developed companies.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are so good. The university's library is also good where we can find any kind of books or novels that we need for ourselves. Hostel food is so good. Medical emergencies are available 24 hours. Sports and games in this part of the university are also good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is so good. Teachers are knowledgeable. The course makes students industry-ready. When we talk about exams it's all based on the syllabus that teachers completed on time. All teachers are disciplined and serious about their syllabus. Exams are based on our syllabus. Our teaching staff is also good. They are so friendly and understanding.

Infrastructure: CGC has modern infrastructure. They provide labs for practicals, communication skills, and coding. There are smart classrooms and they teach on a smart board and provide air conditioning in all classes. For study they provide a library where all the books we need are available. The campus garden looks so beautiful and feels close to nature. In the hotel, there are also many facilities, and entry is with an ID card. Rooms are so clean. Study table for every student in their room. Food is also so good, tasty, and healthy.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified in their field and knowledgeable. They are all very supportive. They clear all doubts of students. CGC University not only gives a degree. They give more confidence, personality, and well prepared for internships. They go for industrial visits to grow the students' knowledge. Exams are very smooth. All questions are taught by teachers in class. They teach everything in our syllabus no single topic is skipped for self-study. All topics are taught very clearly.

Overall review: Campus is decent. You can take admission for a bright future.
Placements: Our placement rates are a little lower for our course. This area must be improved and more companies should come for Forensic Science placements, as it will be better for the upcoming and current students studying in CGC and going to take admission in CGC Mohali.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good. Decent hostel rooms and everything is good. The warden is polite and helpful. The rooms are good and roommates are good. Hostel food is also decent but disappointing sometimes. The quality of food should be improved. They should serve light food also.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative, helpful, inspirational, supportive, and highly educated, and help at every moment. They also take extra classes offline and online, both for doubts and for syllabus completion which is a good thing and also prepares us for future competition.
Other: Campus is very good. Campus crowd is huge. Events and fests are exceptional and fantastic. Fests are absolutely amazing and they call new singers, who are fabulous all the time, expecting the same.

My experience at CGC University as a final-year student.
Placements: I'm currently in the fifth semester, pursuing a B.Sc. MS at CGC University. The placements for the MS programme are comparatively lower than those for engineering and MBA students. There is a placement unit for handling placements and for the MS field. It is growing as well.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious. Labs have air conditioning. Laboratories are well-equipped. MS is concerned more with practical work. We spend most of our time in labs. I enjoy spending my time in labs as it provides a great learning experience.
Faculty: Faculty members are amazing. They complete the syllabus on time and are easily approachable. My favourite is Dr. Keshav Sir and my mentor, Ms. Preanshika. They have been supporting me throughout. The course is designed to make us industry-ready and provides great exposure.

Placements: About 70-80% of students are placed. The highest package is 12-14 LPA. The average package is 6 to 7 LPA. The lowest package is 3 to 4 LPA. Healthcare companies are the top recruiting companies in our course, like IDS Infotech Ltd., Safety Circle, and Vivnovation. A very high percentage of students get internship opportunities. About 80 to 90 percent of students get internships in healthcare companies and forensic science laboratories. The role offered is a medical scribe.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice and good. Wi-Fi is available, along with a smart library with a peaceful environment, and lots of books are available. Classrooms have projectors. Well-equipped labs are there. Hostel rooms are well-maintained and have lift facilities. There is also the facility of vending machines. The hostel mess food is prepared with proper hygiene maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The teaching quality is amazing. Teachers use innovative techniques to teach students. The course curriculum is very helpful. Along with theory, practical exposure is also given to students. This makes them industry-ready. Semester exams are not so tough and not so easy. The exams are average, and those who study well can easily pass the exams. The passing criteria are a minimum of 40 percent marks in all subjects.
Other: I chose this course because I love investigation. My dream is to be a forensic scientist and to serve the country. The best thing about my course is that it is very interesting and full of suspense cases, in which we study all the subjects like law, science, and technology. This makes it more interesting and insightful. I think practical exposure like educational trips and real-life investigation experience should be given to the students for their better understanding. Events are very enjoyable. They are conducted for students to take a break from the academic pressure.
