CGC Mohali: Absolutely satisfied with the university.
Placements: I study BCA at CGC Mohali. 75-85 percent of our students got placed with packages between 2.5 LPA and 10 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA-5 LPA. The major recruiters of our college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and Accenture. 60-70 percent of students got their internships. Software Developer, Web Developer, QA Engineer, System Engineer, Technical Support, and a few others are roles that are commonly offered.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure for the tech and computer applications depth at CGC Mohali, with smart classes, full Wi-Fi on campus and the latest computer labs. The library is another strong point of this college, very serene, having enough books as well as e-resources through ERP. The hostels have good and safe accommodation, there is a mess, which is not very expensive and has snacks. There are grounds and a cricket court too, as well as proper medical care on campus. So overall, the campus is good.
Faculty: Their faculty is supportive, skilful, and knowledgeable. They teach concepts properly and help students in projects and practical work. The BCA programme covers topics like programming languages, database management, web development and others and provides education relevant to the present industry demands. Good university to take admission now.
Placements: Many seniors have received placement and internship opportunities through campus drives. Recruiters from companies like Capgemini and Deloitte have visited campus and there is even a new Capgemini on the campus floor. There are new placements and many new things.
Infrastructure: I would say that CGC is in its building state right now and growing day by day. When I entered college now there was a big difference. Now new labs are made for everything. Labs are improved and we even got a dedicated block for BCA. There are new facilities everywhere.
Faculty: The faculty is one of the best things in college and might be different for everybody. For me it is good too, around new professors some gave real experience and some practical knowledge. Exams are good if you study good you will easily pass the exam.
Other: At the time of starting I was interested in Computer Science and Legal Studies. I wanted to pursue something I wanted to do so I chose BCA. At my time there weren't options like AI and ML but those things have also been added.

Infrastructure: The library in our college is very big and spacious and it is well-ventilated. There are more than 5000 physical books available, and digital libraries also level a part from that.
