Good option if you are ready to work on your skills along with college support.

Placements: I am a 1st year student at CGC Mohali University. I am pursuing B.Tech in IT. I think it is a good choice for students who want a balance between academics and placements. The university has recently launched the Capgemini Centre where students get hands-on experience. The college provides many opportunities to seek experience and knowledge, but we should focus on learning skills by ourselves too. In the end, it depends on the skills of the students.

Infrastructure: I am living in the hostel here too. The hostel is decent with proper security. Sometimes I get tired of the mess food, but compared to other colleges, the food is good too. Overall, it's a good option if you are ready to work on your skills along with the college's support. I love the infrastructure and greenery of this college.

Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and qualified, but teaching quality can vary from faculty to faculty. The course curriculum is relevant and good, but students need to put in extra effort to become truly industry-ready for placements. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and can be cleared easily with regular study. The pass percentage is quite high, as most students pass if they prepare properly.

Overall, it is good for students who want to study and have a little bit of fun.

Placements: Placements are one of the strong points of the university. Around 80-90% get placed with an average package of 7-8 LPA. We can also get more opportunities by improving our skills, and we can also join some workshops to increase our skills in the field we are interested in.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good there, but the food lacks quality. Overall, the blocks in which the study is good and the classrooms offer a lot of features, like projectors. We can also join workshops, there are many available in each block. Overall, the blocks are good.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful and supportive. They also help students to fully understand the topic, so that if someone hasn't got the full concept, he/she can also clear his/her doubt after the class from the respective faculty. Overall, the faculty is good.

College is above average as compared to other colleges around the area, and has a nice faculty.

Placements: My course is AI, and this was introduced around 2023, so I can't say a lot about placements. For other batches (B Tech), the average comes around 8-9 LPA, and the highest around 30-40 LPA (1 crore is an exception). Moreover, it also depends on off-campus opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty nice, and more buildings are being constructed. Wi-Fi works pretty well for me, and classrooms are fully furnished but don't have AC, whereas labs do have AC. Labs are also quite nice. Hostels also have Wi-Fi facilities, and medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: For sure, teachers are amiable, understanding, and helpful. My teachers are all new, so I can't actually say a lot about teaching quality. I feel it was average. For the current curriculum, we have subjects that are quite relevant. Semester exams are above average in difficulty level.

Satisfied with college infrastructure, hostel, college cleanliness, behaviour, and placement.

Placements: In my course this year, about 90-100% of all the students are placed, and the highest package offered was 1 crore, and many number of students get the highest package as 30-50 LPA. Top roles offered in my course are Artificial intelligence ( their coding programming skills that they impart to the students make them a way they love to be treated).

Infrastructure: In our computer labs of cyber security and data science, in every lab, there is an excellent infrastructure facility. Classrooms actually feel luxurious, and Wi-Fi is at the top always working 24/7. The food available in the hostel mess is very good because, for healthy living, healthy food is the key. In hostels, there are gyms, and wardens are also of good behaviour.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, polite, kind, and knowledgeable. They use the technique of audiovisual everything in order to make sure that every student will have a deep understanding of everything. Semester exams always cover the syllabus that they actually taught in the classrooms and what they require from students.

Other: My batch course is B.Tech in AI & DS. In my course with specialisation, my study is according to a wider field. In the second year, I had a great knowledge about AI, which is the most ongoing and best technique in this world, so it is very best to be there.

CGC Mohali is in Jhanjheri and Jhanjheri is a pind that we attach our nature.

Placements: The highest salary is around 1 crore to 5 LPA to 6 LPA. The highest and the lowest average package is 1 crore to 25 crores. There are more than 1000 companies that visit our college. All students got internships at CGC Mohali. Top roles offered in my course are acting CEO and managing director.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are friendly in nature and easy to understand. If we talk about hostel rooms, they are comfortable like our home. Food is cooked by students' choice, those who give the menu are committee members. If you want something, ask a member or chef.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. CGC Mohali staff is very cooperative and understanding. It makes the students industry-ready next year. I am sure about this, exam is tough sometimes. The pass percentage in the exam is 50%.

Other: It helps me to understand the importance of coding and AI technology. It provides excellent study materials.
