Charusat University: where knowledge is beyond books.

Placements: Almost everyone who wanted to get placed was placed during the placement season. Infosys, TCS, and many more companies came to hire students. The highest salary package was 8 LPA, and the average salary package was around 4.5 LPA. Students must fulfil certain criteria, such as CGPA and attendance requirements, to be eligible to participate in placement.

Infrastructure: The university has a great infrastructure that showcases its naturalistic setting. The classrooms and labs are fully air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi. The university has only girls' hostels, so boys have to look for accommodation outside the campus. There are not 10 hostels within a reasonable distance.

Faculty: The faculty in this course are very knowledgeable and do their best to teach the concepts in a way that is both theoretical and practical. The exams are administered on exam tables, and the questions are of moderate difficulty.

Placements: Placements are good enough. Almost all aspiring students get placements. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, TCS, eInfochip, Meditab, and other Gujarat-based companies. They offered several roles such as SDE, web development engineer, cloud computing, cyber security, etc. Overall, placements are above average for aspiring students. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good. It has all facilities including sports, a library, Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and a self-owned hospital named Charusat Hospital. It charges Rs. 10,000. There are free medicine charges. The girls' hostel is inside the campus. It is owned and managed by the university. Boys' hostels are private. It is outside the university. Hostels are comfortable and equipped with air conditioners. There is Wi-Fi as per the choice of students.

Faculty: Faculty members are perfectly fit to teach students with a lot of industry experience. The curriculum is made by them, reviewed by industry experts, and matched with NPTEL's top universities in India and Gujarat. Exams are conducted on tables digitally. Overall, exams are based on what is taught and informed.

Other: Campus life is perfect. Events like Spoural, Cognizance, Krida Khel, etc., are organised throughout the year. There are around 12,000 students in the university. There is a lot of exposure.

A university that can give direction to your future.

Placements: Seniors recently got placed and they got decent packages. There is an internship program starting at the end of 4th semester which can be helpful for many students to get industry experience and gain some extra skills. Infosys, Zomato, and many tech giants also recruit from this university.

Infrastructure: Here, labs are well-maintained. The infrastructure of the university is quietly unique, and the design of buildings here is well planned in such a way that area is properly utilized. Here, flora and fauna are quite diverse and variety of them can be found. It is also active in sports and has an NSS and NCC unit which is quite good and out of the box as not every university has it. Campus only has girls hostel. Boys have to reside outside campus. Campus has mess and canteen but outside street food is a better option.

Faculty: Here, faculty members are well-educated and talented. They try their best to pass knowledge and are more focused on practical education rather than textbook language education. They try their best to design and adapt courses according to changing trends in industry to make their students industry-ready. Passing semester exams is very easy, you can just do it by studying one night before exams and scoring decent marks.

Other: Spoural and CZ are two fest events that can lighten up the mood of every student. Expo is also an event for showing every department their achievements and talents in their respective fields.

Placements: The placements this year were good enough compared to previous years! Many of them got internships at IBM and other big tech companies. Also, my senior told me that they guide you really well for placements and also offer internships after completing the second year of the course.

Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent infrastructure with well-equipped labs and modern classrooms. Sports facilities are top-notch, supporting diverse activities. Hostels are comfortable and secure, with all basic amenities. The mess food is decent, with a variety of options.

Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and approachable, often going beyond lectures to offer practical insights. The curriculum is well-structured, blending theory with hands-on projects, ensuring industry relevance. Exams are challenging but fair, testing both understanding and application.

Placements: I am part of the B.Tech CSE batch passing out in 2027 from Charotar University of Science and Technology (Charusat). In our course, around 80%-85% of eligible students were successfully placed during the campus placement season. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA by product-based companies, while the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The average package ranges between 4.5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Elxsi, eInfochips, and RapidOps. Around 70% of students from our course secured internships, mostly in their pre-final year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Computer Science and Engineering department is excellent, with Wi-Fi-enabled labs, smart classrooms with projectors, and well-maintained computer labs equipped with the latest configurations and required software tools. The central library is spacious and has good digital access to journals, books, and research papers.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They can teach in multiple languages and they teach very well, and courses are very useful in real life too. They support us in our studies and with problems with study and exams, which can be difficult, but we can achieve good grades.

Other: I belong to the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering batch of 2027 at Charotar University of Science and Technology (Charusat). I chose this course due to my keen interest in software development, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies that are shaping the future. The curriculum is well-structured and offers a good blend of theory and practical exposure. The best part about this course is the hands-on learning through labs, mini-projects, and a strong emphasis on coding, along with access to research opportunities and competitions.
