CSIT has a great ambience around the campus. The education and placements are great.
Placements: The placements here are quite great as our college provides many courses and training programs to students which help in the end. Faculty members here are very helpful and are always available to guide you. They focus on getting you ready for your career. They also let you live and teach you to live your best campus life.
Infrastructure: I am a hosteller, and what I really like here is the environment around the hostel. Our college is quite near to the hostel building, so it's very convenient. The quality of food served in the mess is great, and you will notice that on your day one. The only thing is if you cannot have little spicy food, then you'll have a hard time adjusting to it, but it will be fine as per the time. I had the same problem, but now I am able to adapt to it pretty well. The rooms are clean, and there are no issues with water and electricity ever. Even I have never faced problems related to that in the last 2 years living there.
Faculty: Every faculty member here possesses excellent knowledge of their field of subject. They are ready to help you inside and outside of the class, be it course work or career planning. Their guidance is useful. Some faculty members even try to teach every student with special attention to their ability to grasp things.

Overall, my experience in the college was good, but the course is not that good nowadays.
Placements: I am from 2016 pass-out batch from mechatronics stream. CSIT is the only institute in Chhattisgarh which offers this programme. For our batch, no core company has visited to recruit the mechatronics students specifically. We got only one notification from the placement cell in our last semester, regarding recruitment in an elevator manufacturing company. But the company didn't visit our college and cancelled the recruitment programme for some reason. Most of our batchmates used to attend the drives conducted by companies related to mechanical, electronics or IT.
Infrastructure: CSIT has the best infrastructure among all other institutes present in Chhattisgarh. Labs are good and in an arranged manner. Every stream has separate labs and classrooms. The campus has a lot of greenery and is spread over 29.5 acres. The canteen is also good. Overall, the infrastructure is very good in my opinion.
Faculty: CSIT has a good number of faculty members for every branch. But, most of them were either freshers or M.Tech students. Now the situation has changed though, as only M.Tech graduates can be faculty in an engineering institute. But there was a lack of experienced faculty members during our tenure, especially for the mechatronics stream. Still, the teaching quality was good. Few faculty members taught us using projectors sometimes for a better explanation. The institute organised industrial visits for us. We got abundant industry exposure. The course curriculum was not according to the advanced and latest technologies, and it was not much useful.
Other: Lakshya was a famous and joyful event organised by CSIT. We get to know the advantage of being a mechatronics student during robotics events. The campus crowd during our batch was very good. CSIT was very active in organising extracurricular activities.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and CSIT is the king of robotics.
Placements: It is a very good college, and the companies also visited many times for every branch. Salary offered is also good. And in the field of robotics, it is the best college in India. There is 100% guarantee of placements. And the international companies like Parker Hennepin also came at that time, so the college's campus is very good.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi zone, well defined AC, four floors library, sports, robotics, medical facilities, games, canteen and cafeteria are available. There is the best-in-class hostel. There is the best-in-class playground. There is a basketball court, football ground, volleyball court, and a badminton court available. Indoor games like chess, carrom board etc. are also present in the college. Gym, meditation, yoga, temple and a nice garden are provided.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. So, I got the best faculty members at that time.
Mechanical faculty members and mechatronics faculty members are one of the best. Many of the faculty members are foreign return and have experience with everything. They have too much knowledge, and they can teach students well. They teach us providing the practical knowledge.
Other: The most famous event Robowar is held on the techfest Laqshya.

Average college regarding the studies.
Placements: It has one of the highest placements among all the colleges in Chhattisgarh especially for CSE, IT branches, etc. Where as for the mechanical branch, there were few companies to hire. I got placed in Capgemini through this college. Among 500 students, almost 150 were placed, and most of them included the students from CSE and IT. Only 10 students of the mechanical and 4 from mechatronics.
Infrastructure: It has an excellent infrastructure as compared to any of the colleges in Chhattisgarh. The floor space is less. The way it manages all the available space is the best. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and all the labs and classrooms are well-equipped especially for the mechanical and mechatronics engineering. The hostel is excellent, and the canteen food is average. Overall, it's a good college.
Faculty: A few years back, all the faculty members were above par, but now most of them have resigned leaving only the average faculty members who can't support you for any higher studies. They are just okay. The
HOD of every department is the good bit. The faculty members are just below par. But they are supportive. They will do their best regarding providing the solutions to your problems and are cooperative.
Other: This college is not fond of the cultural fest, so one will find a few cultural events in a year that too of low-quality. Though in case of technical events, it is awesome. It organises technical fest Lakshya which is the best technical fest of Chhattisgarh. Many participants are from all over the country.

The placements are not good for B.E. in Mechatronics Engineering students.
Placements: The placements are not very good for mechatronics engineering graduate, but after learning this, a branch of engineering can land in a good position. In most of the organisation, these particular engineers are not eligible to apply. But in common fields, one can work like a bank, defence, civil services, etc. The placement for mechatronics branch is not specific. However, one can sit in the placement of mechanical, CS, IT, etc.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is good. Most of the labs like fluid mechanics lab, measurements lab, metrology lab, IC engine lab, PLC lab, microprocessor lab, microcontroller lab, etc., are there with good lab instructors. The classrooms are good with projector facilities for presentation. The library is very good with a collection of good books. Separate internet labs are there with high-speed internet although the internet is available in the library as well. The canteen is good regarding the food as well as space. The hostel is very good to have all the basic amenities, and it is within walking distance from the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified as well. As this branch is new, they have their stronghold on their subject of interest. But their knowledge doesn't converge to mechatronics engineering. They are good at their individual subjects. The teaching method is done mainly by blackboard and sometimes presentations. We got industry exposure in various industrial visits. The course curriculum is very effective and requires huge hard work.
Other: Lakshya is our college fest. A lot of events take place in every month.
