Placements in 2018 were not good. Satisfying faculty members. Good infrastructure.
Placements: Companies which visited the campus for placements of our batch were not good. Seniors batch had a higher placement rate. Salaries offered were around Rs. 10,000 per month. Field related jobs offered were less. Most companies are related to sales and marketing. None of our batches got internships. There is a placement cell, and the work done by them was not satisfying.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the main characteristic of our institute that grabbed my attraction towards it. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, sports and games, are all fully functional and efficient. Our university has south Gujarat's biggest library. The workshop facility for mechanical and automobile engineering branches are extraordinary. The quality of the food served in the canteen is extreme, and no complaints about it. I didn't face any issues related to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is not given in a generalised way. It varies through faculty to faculty. However, learning was fun with most of our teachers. All of them are friendly. The methods are simplified and easily accessible. Our mechanical engineering department has around 150 teaching staff for around 720 students of mechanical engineering, considering four batches of students. The course curriculum is undoubtedly very useful.
Other: Every year, interviews are conducted, and many students are provided scholarships. Techfest and culture festivals are organised with lots of fun. Extracurricular activities like sports week, industrial visits, experts lectures, are conducted regularly.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements in 2016. Good infrastructure, facilities and faculty.
Placements: The staff have tried their best to place students even after the completion of their course. It's been 2 years I finished my course, I still get emails and calls from the college placement and training cell. This year, many of the mechanical students got placed in small and big companies with good starting packages as it is a growing university.
Infrastructure: Our college has one of the finest infrastructures in Gujarat with the latest technologies, good labs with modern equipment and international level labs. Recently, the college has collaborated with Bosch, and in Gujarat, they started the 1st ever Bosch lab which is available only at CGPIT.
Faculty: As an alumnus, I can say that all the faculty members were very helpful and caring. They were from reputed colleges. They have completed their post-graduation and PhD. They all were experts in their subjects. They taught us well and were always ready to help us. Courses are good, but some subjects must be included in the curriculum.
Other: Technical events, musical events, dance, garba and all the festivals are celebrated in the college. Good transportation facilities are available with regularity.

I am dissatisfied because of the fee structure, but placements in the last 3 years were good.
Placements: Around 68% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5.55 LPA. In our institute, it is compulsory to do an internship in any field. The top recruiting company for our course is TCS.
Infrastructure: All major facilities are provided like fan, light, projectors, practical labs, workshop, etc. In the sports club, there are many games like 8 ball pool, carrom, chess, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: There are many faculty members who help students at any time.
