Don't take admission in this college.

Placements: There is none for the computer branch, since we are from the first batch of the college, and it is yet to find. Maybe TCS will come by, but I strongly disbelieve that they will come with high hope in the first year, as they know there is no proper training for students for industry scale.

Infrastructure: There is no proper department of computer, but other branches are fine, and need to be improved. The computer course is completely outdated for today's standard, and the same old repeating exam patterns with very little focus on practical usage besides writing code on paper.

Faculty: The computer branch has no proper faculty that can teach, other branches have better faculty and labs. Teachers are not present, even when they are, they are highly untrained with coding skills below that of the average student in class, and they just read PDFs and expect students to learn by themselves.

Other: I have chosen this branch because I am dumb and this college because I am worse than my faculty members are.

If you do not have enough money to spend on your college, this is better for you.

Placements: Currently, there is no tech company coming here for placement. Also, there are good placement opportunities for non teaching students. The highest package offered is 8 to 10 LPA for non teaching. Some students find placement through off campus. Most of the service based company.

Infrastructure: Quality of hostel room is very cheap, like a cattle farm, and no sports ground, even all departments are near on a small one road. They have enough space, but it will not be maintained as well. The hostel has a drinking water problem, and for food, they went off campus.

Faculty: Faculty is sometimes good or sometimes maybe worse. They only follow the GTU curriculum, which is not relevant to the current time. Semester exams are not as tough as those at other universities, for exams you need to study for good grades, and the campus is very small.

Please don’t take admission in this college if you are still getting admission in any other college.

Placements: Placement in this college is very low. You can come here just to get a degree. The placement percentage is barely around 15%. The highest package is around 8 LPA, received by a civil engineering student. The college doesn’t provide internships. We have to find them by ourselves. The college only focuses on academics. There is no club culture in this college.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, and the hostel has average infrastructure. The hostel does not have a mess system. Three people share one room. The toilets are not good. The classrooms are big, but do not have a good air circulation system. There is a computer lab with new computer setups.

Faculty: This college comes under GTU, so it follows the GTU curriculum. Some departments do not have full faculty, while many departments have full faculty. There are two exams in a semester. They are mid-semester and the main GTU exam. The mid-semester paper is average. If you fail in the first mid-semester exam, you can still clear it in the second mid-semester exam.

Other: The college has stationery and canteen facilities, but the canteen is not good at all.

The college is great, and teachers are great as well, but sometimes problems occur.

Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in my course. The highest, lowest, and average packages offered in my course are 5 LPA, 3.5 LPA, and the average, respectively. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Torrent. Around 15% of students received internships at the companies mentioned above and more.

Infrastructure: My college provides private classrooms with fans and lights as needed. They also provide a projector for explanations when required. The infrastructure is average, but not the worst. We also have a library, labs, and college Wi-Fi is available for everyone.

Faculty: Teachers are as helpful as they can be. They provide great education and are very friendly. The teaching quality is great. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The exams are difficult, but everything is from the syllabus, so as long as you prepare well, it is fine. The passing percentage is around 80%.

Placements: Ghandhi Government Engineering College in Surat generally receives positive reviews for its academics and infrastructure. The college has a good reputation for placement. Our college is value for money and the faculty is also supportive.

Placements: Around 60%-75% of students were placed in 2024 via campus. The highest package is around 8.5 LPA, the average package is between 4.4 LPA and 4.5 LPA, and the median package is 3.9 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. 40% of students placed in internships with L&T, Maruti Suzuki, and Jio.

Infrastructure: In our college, the fan does not work properly, Wi-Fi is provided, but our student Gmail is not provided to us. In our hostel, water is available 24/7, and hostel mess food is above average, but it tastes good. Our hostel room is clean, and every day the bathroom is clean. Our hostel is good enough to live in.

Faculty: Our faculty of programming is good enough to teach us programme but our practical lab is not work properly our computer cannot work properly. This college students ready for the job. Exam are above average but easy to crack, in our college pass rate is above 60% that is good enough.

Other: I want to become a good web developer, so I chose the computer engineering program in our college faculty because it is good. I will try to code if there is a problem, the faculty will help us.

Our college is good if the faculty come to every branch. Otherwise, no teaching is done.

Placements: Our batch is the first batch in the college, so we don't have any companies for placements until now. Other departments, like mechanical and civil, have good placements. If students want more opportunities, then they should get them on their own and not depend on the college. Companies like Adani Group, Torrent Power, etc., visit the college for placements.

Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good, and the college infrastructure is also nice. Some electrical appliances may take time to get replaced after they stop working. Wi-Fi is available in labs. Computer labs are good. Hygiene is not good in the hostel. There are water problems regularly.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and they try to help us as much as they are able to. The course has the same subjects as every other degree college, so they are just preparing us to do work. Mid-semester exams of the college are medium and it is based on PYQs.
