An overview of my college in all fields.
Placements: The lowest package is 3.6 LPA, and the highest package is 46 LPA. The top recruiters include Bosch, Visteon, and Johnson Controls through my course. Roles offered are Graduate Trainee, Embedded Testing Engineer, and Embedded Design Engineer. Around 80% of students are placed in ECE.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, so I don't have much idea about hostel facilities. But when it comes to classrooms, they have newly added smart boards in most of the classes. Wi-Fi is available in most places on the college campus. There is a stationery shop as well as a canteen for students with seating arrangements.
Faculty: Teachers are all supportive and helpful when it comes to classes as well as projects. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready by the end of four years. The projects we do also play a part in it. The VTU semester exams are at an intermediate level.
Other: I chose this course because I am very much interested in the core domain. There are events like Aura, Sparda, and cultural events. Here students can take part in multiple activities.

Life of a CMR IT CSE student.
Placements: As far as I know, almost 85 percent of our students are placed in good companies. The lowest package offered was around 4.5 LPA, and the mean is around 8-8.2 LPA, and the highest is around 48 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Phones Pe, etc. Almost 80-85 percent of the students have internships, as per my knowledge. Top roles offered are SDE, associate SDE, embedded system engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is really good. We have good Wi-Fi speed that goes up to 250 Mbps. All the computers are modern, and they have both Windows and Ubuntu operating systems to help students. Classrooms either have a smartboard or a projector. The food quality in the mess is good, the hostel also provides a good experience, but it is slightly costly, ranging from 1.4 lakh to 1.92 lakh. A sports room and gym are present with table tennis and other games.
Faculty: The teachers have a good experience in teaching, they are highly skilled and qualified, and they are very enthusiastic. The course curriculum is mostly relevant. Our college also provides competitive coding classes from the second sem and verbal and aptitude classes to aid our placements. The semester exams become slightly difficult after the 3rd sem, but most of us pass the exams, around 85 percent of us.
Other: The campus is slightly crowded. It has great connectivity. Plenty of places to explore nearby, good exposure to tech industries. The fest is also good, I would rate it above average. Two major fests occur per year.

Good college with beautiful location
Placements: I joined the college by mistake. Actually, in my year, I dreamed of DSCE but got CMRIT. At first, it is disappointing, but after joining this college, it seemed to be a very good college. The placements are okay, not so good, but not so bad either. If you work hard, you can easily get around 7–8 LPA. Around 70–80 percent of students get placed every batch, with the highest being around 45 LPA and the lowest around 3–4 LPA. The average is around 7 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. It has all the necessary facilities. Classrooms are equipped with smart projectors and smart boards. All labs are also good with updated computers. The hostel is good but a bit expensive. The food is very decent.
Faculty: The faculty members are great. My department faculty members are very friendly and teach with proper guidance. The HOD is also very good. I love my course. Semester exams are very easy, but the marks you get totally, I repeat, totally, depend on your luck.
Other: The course is great, and the campus is very good. But the people are not so good. Everyone has their own life and they don’t interact much. The people here are not very friendly, and the language barrier is always an issue.

Prime location for IT placements with active student life, but the campus size is compact.
Placements: An average number of students get placed in our course. The average package is around 7 LPA. The highest package is around 44 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and others. Top roles are Software Developer, Software Engineer, Data Scientist, and so on.
Infrastructure: CMRIT College comes with a Wi-Fi-enabled campus and labs. Classrooms and libraries are well-maintained. Hostel food consists of a variety of items that are suitable for all residents. The campus also has a medical facility and supports participation in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers at CMRIT are helpful and well-qualified. They have good subject knowledge with a good quality of teaching. The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I opt for this course because of my interest in the subject and high demand it holds. Improvements in industry-specific projects and campus size would be appreciated. The college hosts various events like Cultural Fest and Spardha, an inter-collegiate sports meet.

Satisfied because of placement and campus life.
Placements: I am a fresher but I talked to so many seniors, and they told me that approximately 88 percent of students were placed in the last placement season. The highest salary is 4 LPA while the average is around 8 LPA. Around 30 percent of students got internships at Dell, Cognizant, and other companies. Top roles offered are data scientist and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is okayish while labs are good. Classrooms don't have smart board and library is fine too. Wi-Fi in hostel is poor and there is no speed. There is no connectivity. Food is fine like I mean the usual price curry and idli dosa for breakfast. Canteen is fine too but some foods are overpriced. Sports facilities are good. There are cricket ground, basketball court, and tennis court too.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant too plus the dedicated placement cell helps students in building projects for internships and placements. But the semester exams are difficult as it's held by VTU. Pass percentage is around 92.
Other: I chose CSE for placements only, and I think hostel facilities could be better as most of the facilities are below average. Events are extraordinary, I think. Surroundings are good too.

Review on CMRIT as a First year student.
Placements: CMRIT boasts great placement prospects and has solid industry relations. Top organizations frequently arrange visits to campus to recruit students for various available roles. The average package is around 7-8 LPA, while the highest package is around 48 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. CMRIT thoroughly prepares students for these opportunities with rigorous training, faculty guidance, and extensive placement support. The college also promotes internships and startups, producing students with real-world experience and providing students with the resources to work on their ideas. Overall, CMRIT ensures students are job-ready, confident, and prepared to begin their careers.
Infrastructure: The CMRIT hostel is comfortable and convenient for the students to concentrate on their studies and campus life. The food quality is good, and mess hours are reasonable and well-coordinated so they do not interfere with class times. Safety is prioritized and considered an important factor for both students and parents. Plus, there are vending machines providing snacks and light refreshment which is very useful. On the whole, the hostel provides a decent, conducive environment for students living independently.
Faculty: CMRIT's professors are welcoming and always willing to support students, both academically and personally. The program and classes are structured and current, allowing for clarity and understanding in learning rather than memorization of the material for exams. The college promotes engagement in co-curricular activities (CCA) beyond academics through a variety of club workshops and events to help develop creativity, leadership, and teamwork. With supportive professors, a well-organized curriculum, fair assessment, and a high level of CCA activity, learning experiences are smooth, engaging, and well-rounded overall at CMRIT!
Other: CMRIT is situated at a very convenient location for students. There are numerous food places, gyms, supermarkets, religious places, and PG in proximity that help in supplementing daily life. Whether it is grabbing a quick meal, buying daily essentials, or going to the gym, everything is just a short walk or drive away, making student life very comfortable.
