The COER University BTech course is offered with various specialisations, The eligibility criteria differ based on the choice of course. Listed below is the course-wise BTech eligibility criteria:

• For Computer Science and Engineering/Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning/Cyber Security/Gaming and AR/VR/CSE with specialisation in VFX/CSE with specialisation in Blockchain/CSE with specialisation in Web Development: Candidates must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% (45% marks for SC/ST categories) marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
• For Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering: Candidates who wish to apply must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% Marks (40% in reserved category) Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Science passed through CBSE/ICSE/Uttarakhand Board or equivalent any other recognised board

No, if you are willing to secure admission to the BTech course at COERU, you must clear the JEE Main entrance exam with a valid score equivalent to the cutoff eligibility prescribed by COER. Students must have scored between 45% -50% in Class 12 core subjects. This is the basic eligibility criteria to get admission in COER University.

COER Roorkee offers three courses

1. B.Tech
2. M.Tech
3. Polytechnic 

So the first-year fee for B.Tech is INR 1.68 Lacs.

For M.Tech it is INR 1.26 Lacs INR for the first year

For Polytechnic it is INR 76,000  for the first year.

For B.Tech at COER University Roorkee you need to clear the JEE MAINS Exam with atleast 50 percentile marks as the cutoffs goes low as 500000 for general category. The cutoff for Computer Science Engineering closes at around 300000 to 325000. You need to go through the uttrakhand engineering admissions counselling.

The COER University MTech tuition fees is different for each year of the programme. For the first year, students are required to pay the tuition fees of INR 1.1 lakh. For the second year, students are required to pay INR 1.16 lakh. The total tuition fees for two years amount to INR 2.26 lakh. COER University offers MTech in Computer Science and Engineering and MTech in Mechanical Engineering via College of Engineering Roorkee. For admission to these courses, the institute accepts GATE scores. Those who do not have a valid GATE score can appear for the college level entrance test.
