Number 1 agriculture college.
Placements: The college has a specific placement cell office and they appointed one teacher as placement cell officer. But this office has not tried with lots of companies so there are very few job opportunities from this office. Only 1-2 companies come to college for interviews, and because of that, lots of students have to search for jobs on their own.
Infrastructure: The college provides hostel facilities to both boys and girl students. All of the boys get hostel rooms easily as compared to girls because the boys hostel is bigger than the girls hostel.
Girls have to get higher grade marks to get rooms available in hostels. Cleaning in a hostel is good. A hostel is cheaper than that of a PG.
Faculty: The college conducts various activities on campus. Lots of guest lectures of class one offices are conducted by the college and student groups. The special activity is one sport activity that is conducted in the Dec-Jan month. The exams in college are according to semester-wise; in one year there are two semesters, and in one semester there is one mid and one final exam.
Other: It is my family's dream that I will study in agriculture so I study hard to get admission to this college. As this is the government college of Maharashtra and one of the most preferred agriculture colleges in Maharashtra. The college is situated in middle of Pune so lots of facilities is available near the college.
If girls did not get a hostel, they could live near the college campus, i.e., Narveer Tanaji Wadi, just 1 km away from the college.

India's Oldest and One of the Best Agriculture Colleges.
Placements: The College of Agriculture, Pune is a top government college in Maharashtra, so only top students are able to get admission to the college. So due to this, around 90-95% of students get placed in college. Around 240 students are in one batch per year. The college has a placement cell for placement opportunities, but few companies come to the college with low packages.
Infrastructure: The college has hostel facilities for boys and girls. Boys can easily get a room in the hostel by paying during the admission process. Hostel fees are around 6000 for one semester. The hostel also has a mess facility, which is run by the student body itself. The college library has a huge stock of books and newspapers.
Faculty: The teaching staff of the college is the best in Maharashtra. All teachers are very knowledgeable and have more than 4-5 years of experience. The college has different types of departments for students. Only the dairy department is far from the college, so students have to go a long distance to get there. There are two semesters in one year.
Other: In one year, there are two semesters. In one semester, we have to take one mid-semester exam and the final exam at the end of the semester. Practical exams are conducted at the department by an external examiner. Lots of sports activities are conducted in the college, especially the cricket sport activity in February, which is famous in the college.

Satisfied with infrastructure, but dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: There are no placements from this college. The placement cell is also not working here. Here students are mainly preparing for any competitive exams. The placement cell has been inactive for many years. Companies do not visit the college to offer jobs. The only benefit we get is in preparing ourselves for any examinations.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good enough to survive. There is one separate study hall in every hostel building. The food in the mess is average, and the canteen is good here. Wi-Fi is available in libraries. The mobile network is not working in the hostel and classrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-qualified. Teaching quality is also good. They are helpful when you need them. Semester exams are very difficult for Hindi medium students as the medium of study and writing answers is only English. So it is difficult for them to pass the semester examinations.
Other: There is no college event and fest in this college. As per ICAR, students from other states get a Rs. 36,000 scholarship per year if the CGPA of one year is maintained at 7 or above 7. If students fail to get a 7 CGPA in any year their further scholarship will be completed from the next semester. State government students (MH-CET ) get a scholarship according to their criteria.

Good Campus and Best Placements.
Placements: Between 50 to 60% of students were placed in this course. 2) Placement depends on the field; students in technology, pest control, agriculture business management, Ayurvedic medicine companies, and pathology have better job prospects.
Infrastructure: Competitive books are available. The college has a playground, gym, smart classes, labs, Wi-Fi, and clean hostels. There is security for both boys' and girls' hostels and throughout the campus. The college offers multiple games and extracurricular activities, including NCC enrollment and NSS activities.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, and smart classes are provided, which is beneficial for students. The course aligns with your passions and professions. Semester examinations are relatively easy, making it possible to achieve higher scores. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: Good career prospects with passion.

The best government college for agribusiness management. Satisfied above expectations.
Placements: 1) A batch consists of 30 students, among which 80–90% get placed.
2) Packages range from INR 2.5 to 8 LPA for freshers.
3) Almost all of the reputed agri-input companies arrive for campus placements (Syngenta, Bayer, AgroStar, etc. )
4) An internship is optional. Most of the students don't prefer doing it. Very few of them opt for it.
5) The roles offered may be sales officer, HRM, or marketing manager.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, Wi-Fi, comfortable chairs, etc. The computer lab is spacious and more than enough for the batch. The library is huge and houses books ranging from academics to non-curriculars as well. Hostel mess is average. The food is better than most of the canteens and more affordable. College has a huge ground. Inter-university sports keep happening. A gym facility is available.
Faculty: 1) Teachers are well-equipped with modern-day skills and knowledge. Most of the staff is visiting faculty, so the quality is not compromised. Teaching is overall good with interactive sessions, engaging presentations and fun activities.
2) Yes, this curriculum is pretty relevant. It makes students corporate-ready and imparts skills for marketing.
3) Semester exams are medium-difficult. Most of the students pass, barring a few.
Other: I ended up doing this course because I couldn't get admission to M.Sc. Agriculture in a better subject but I'm satisfied with this course now. I am enjoying it. No improvements are needed as far as I can make out of it. Campus life is great. Very few campuses surpass the vibrancy this place has to offer. Fests are ample. As far as connectivity is concerned, this place is located in the heartland of Pune. Therefore, it is not an issue. Scholarships are provided for the tuition fee as well as the hostel. Visits are arranged every month.

It is good for present and future.
Placements: My college is granted a Grade A by MPKV Rahuri. There is always transparency in the college. Good case selections and 4 to 5 labs are each year. Students can be selected in the college's Agronomy Department. The department has its land for practicing cash crops and millet crops. Dairy products are also prepared daily.
Infrastructure: My college is well-equipped with all facilities. Labs and classrooms have LED screens and touch TVs. Class teachers conduct lessons effectively. The college has over 100 acres of land, which includes an orchard. There are also greenhouses, playhouses, a poultry unit, a soil controller lab, and a seed technology lab.
Faculty: Teachers are cooperative and helpful in solving the doubts of average students. Teaching is better than in other institutions. Teachers provide complete information related to each topic. Every topic is taught practically and explained in a simple way to help students understand in both the local language and English. Two types of exams are conducted by the college at every time.
Other: In December, when new students arrive, a fresher party is organized by third-year students and the student committee. Prizes are given to encourage students, and sports activities are also conducted.
