MHT CET Counselling 2022: The Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET 2022 counselling tentatively in June. The schedule of counselling and details about the counselling process will be announced after the declaration of MHT CET result 2022. The complete process of MHT CET counselling will be wherein candidates need to register online, upload scanned documents and pay the required counselling fee to participate in the counselling. The documents of students will be verified online by the counselling authority. After documents verification, choice filling for MHT CET counselling 2022 will start and seat allotment will be made in two rounds. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to confirm their admission online by paying the seat confirmation fees and reporting to the allotted institute. MHT CET 2022 Counselling Process

The complete MHT CET counselling process will be online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates can check all the procedures related to MHT CET 2022 counselling below which includes the following steps:

1. Registration:

The first step is to register on the official website and submit your personal, communication and security details. After filling in all the details, a password needs to be generated. Once the password is generated, other remaining details need to be filled in.

After entering the above details, aspirants need to register their qualification details ( subject wise and overall marks in 10th and 12th standard along with the name of the board) and examination details.

2. Uploading Scanned Images

At this step, aspirants will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature of file size 4KB to 100KB and dimensions 3.5*4.5cm and 1KB to 30KB and 3.5*1.5cm respectively.

3. Payment of Counselling Fees

Lastly, aspirants will be required to pay the counselling fees online basis their category.

  • General Category, Outside Maharashtra State Applicant and Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries: Rs 800 (Tentative)
  • Reserved Category from Maharashtra State and Persons with Disability applicants from Maharashtra would be: Rs 600 (Tentative)
  • Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Foreign National: Rs. 5000 (Tentative)

MHT CET 2022 Counselling Reservation Policy

Only the candidates belonging to Maharashtra will be eligible for reservation in the MHT CTE 2022 counselling process. The seats available in engineering/pharmacy courses in various colleges across the state will be filled as per the reservation policy of the state government. These reservations are only applicable for MHT CET 2022 Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The division of seats across various categories are as below

MHT CET Merit List 2022

The counselling authority will release the MHT CET 2022 merit list after the declaration of results. The authority will first release a provisional merit list which will also be open for challenge. The final MHT CET merit list will be released after reviewing the grievances submitted by students. The allotment of seats will be based on candidates' rank in the MHT CET merit list.

MHT CET Seat Allotment

MHT CET seat allotment results will be declared in the two rounds. The seat allotment will be done online basis on the ranks acquired by students in the merit list and students' preference and availability of seats. MHT CET merit list will be released online. Candidates who will be allotted seats need to report at their allotted institute for confirmation of seats. They also need to pay the tuition fees to confirm admission.

Admission Process
For securing admission, the candidate has to qualify the MHT-CET/NEET with Non-Zero score. The admission to colleges in Maharashtra is carried out through the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State).
Eligibility Criteria
HSC examination or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
45% for Reserved Category candidates from Maharashtra state only.
