Dissatisfied because of the faculty but good infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of placement of students is very low. Here students are doing market work instead of learning in college, because of the low teaching and experiential skills. Placement by college is very rare here. Students are suffering for anything kind of placement.
Infrastructure: Hostels have a low capacity of students. The ratio of rooms compared to the students is half. There are 60 students in 8 rooms and every room is capable of 4 students. There is no mess available for the students in the college. There is no Wi-Fi connection and we cannot access the library anytime we want, because availability of the librarian.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified, and very knowledgeable but the teaching quality is not good enough. The course is relevant to the curriculum but it doesn't make the students industry-ready enough. Semester exams are okay but the pass percentage is around 65-70%.
Other: I love to do artistic things but teaching quality is not good enough. Only one thing is good and that is the campus. But it has bad maintenance also.

Q:   Is it good to pursue fine arts?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Hello,

Since your question is relevant for students pursuing their undergraduate or postgraduate studies, I would like to answer this question for the benefit of many. Those who choose B.A. (Hons) or M.A. Fine Arts typically head for a career as an Artist, who could work on aesthetics and whose sole purpose is self-expression.

Based on the portfolio of work, Artists may choose to participate in exhibitions to gain valuable experience, work with art galleries, print, digital design, illustrator for magazines and newspapers - the list is endless. The curriculum at School of Design & Fashion, IILM University looks at both the aspects of the need as an artist as well as a designer, we have major-minor, subject choice/combination where one can opt for B.A. (hons) Fine Arts as a major and can learn Design (Product/ Fashion/ Interior/ Interaction Design) or opt for papers from Management, Psychology, Journalism, Media & Communication (to name a few) as a minor. At both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, students gain exposure to the industry, network with artists, and get ready for a career in the area of their interest.

Good luck.
