Best college in Kerala, but don't have high expectations.
Placements: I am not sure about the placements, but I have heard they are average because of our course. Placements are comparatively low for the batch. At least 15 out of 40 people get placed every year. I think about 30% of students get placed, but architecture is a course where students don't really focus on getting placed.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure, though old, is really good. I am staying outside the college, but I've heard that some parts of the hostel are not that great, while others are really good. In my department, I am not satisfied with the washrooms, but other classrooms are good. It has a department library and also a department store, but getting something from there is kind of a long process.
Faculty: Most of the faculty is great and very knowledgeable. Course urriculum is based on continuous evaluation with never-ending assignments. Exams are comparatively easy, except for the theory of structures. One have to look out for that subject. Also, don't have high expectations. It's a roller coaster of highs and lows. But from what I have heard, it is better than most private colleges.
Other: I chose this course because I like to learn something creative. As of now, we do fewer things related to architecture, but it will surely come in the years to come, so let's hope it will be more fun then. Think a lot before choosing this course because we can regret it many times. College life is pretty chill, and there are loads of extracurricular activities, be it sports, dance, music, etc.
