Mixed opinions about my course and college There is no such scope for Horticulture in Telangana.
Placements: 150 students enrolled per year. 6 LPA was offered for Horticulture officer and 2.4 LPA for the field officer. SEED organisations, Fertilizer companies and landscaping companies visited. 20% of students will get an internship from companies. Horticulture officer, field officer, and Bank officer are the top roles.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities and geyser facilities are available. Nice library and a good collection of books from reputed authors. Lab facilities are available. For every 3 members one room will be allotted, Nice and delicious food and unlimited food will be provided. Volleyball and inter-college sports are available.
Faculty: Good faculty, very helpful and full guidance from lecturers. Only PowerPoint presentations are represented by the college. There are 8 semesters in 4 years. A semester is for six months. There will be mid exams and practical exams for each course subject.
Other: It is a professional course for future science course and entrepreneurship courses.

Really good teaching faculty.
Placements: 80 percent were placed in my course, and the highest package offered is 8 lakhs, the lowest is 6 lakhs, and the average is 7 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are HDFC Bank People and Global Green Company. The top roles are assistant professors. 80 percent of students got internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and other facilities, like Wi-Fi labs and classrooms, are very good. Classrooms are provided with good projectors, and smart classrooms are also available. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is very good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and also qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant, and this makes the student industry ready. Exams are quite difficult, but the passing percentage is 85 percent to 90 percent.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is very interesting to learn about plants. The best things are doing practical things like grafting and showing the crops their entire production technology. Better Improvement would like to suggest explaining the things by showing some video. They provide good scholarships, and the extracurricular activities like sports and culture are good.

Not the best option to join for meritorious students.
Placements: Placements are not upto the mark. The placement cell is just for its name sake. They don't have much connection with many more pioneer companies for placement of its students. Funds are also not well established and will always have lack of funds to fulfill plans.
Infrastructure: Not good as it is Government College. The infrastructure need to be developed a lot as it is not upto the mark. The labs are not well-equipped and not well spaced. They may be filled much more better than now what they are. We don't even have a separate laboratory for pathology and entomology as both are combined.
Faculty: Average faculty. Even though the faculty are highly profiled they will be busy with their work. Teachers are much helpful in the competitive exams like JRF likewise and other guidance for exams will be very nice. The planning of periods is also not upto the mark.
Other: I got only this course in counselling and had no option to take any other college.

Satisfied with the environment but not knowledge .
Placements: We don't have any placements for our college. But the students who do not want to afford the post graduate can get the job in college in various fields. The internship provided to us by the college for 6 months. It gives stipends of about 3000 per month, that helps us to invest on the projects given to us. They also gives the Certificate after successful completion of internship.
Infrastructure: There is no auditorium in the entire college. Labs are there with limited farming implements and lab equipment. Class room provided with the digital board as well as normal board and has sufficient benches. College Wi-Fi is the key for handling all the academic section works online. Library is seen with all the books that are related to the horticulture like horticulture galastus, PHT in Horticulture, Agronomy books and extension books also provided with daily newspaper. The food quality is good as it is handled and maintained ourselves. Yearly sportsmeet intercollege sports are held. No proper canteen
and no in-time medical facility.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified in their respective courses PG and Ph.D. , and has knowledge about their individual respective subject or course. But the quality of teaching is not so practical. The course curriculum is relevant.
Exams are held semester wise. Total 8 semester , 2 semester per year and we will have the mid semester within the 50 working days interval i. e. , in between 2 semesters. The semester exams are not so difficult. Pass percent is from 70 to 91 undoubtedly.
Other: I have written an TS EAMCET entrance exam after completing my Intermediate. I was expected to get in Agricultural colleges, but by chance I got seat in the Horticulture college. After the days passed, I got somewhat much interest about the course. I got slight knowledge about the farming and the benefits of Horticulture in future. College events like College day, Freshers party, and also Events on Gandhi jayanthi, Independence day, republic day, etc. are held. Scholarship is afforded to the students about 25,000 per year. Peaceful surrounding but has limited trees overall.
