The college has provided good placement in 2024.
Placements: Last year, about 70% of students were placed in industries. They offer a range of value-added courses such as Ansys, CATIA, Hypermesh, 3DPLM, Autodesk, MATLAB, Abaqus, Six Sigma, SEED Infotech, and Japanese Language, ensuring students are industry-ready and globally competitive.
Infrastructure: The hostel is now under construction and will be available in one or two months, but the facilities provided by them are absolutely amazing. The college hostel boasts of its state-of-the-art amenities and ultra-modern facilities on the campus with an intake capacity of 125 students. Facilities given in the hostel are Wi-Fi connectivity, air-conditioned and spacious rooms, a medical facility, water purifiers, a parking facility, and a gym, but it is not ready yet, so it is a bit disappointing.
Faculty: Teachers for the first and second years are very helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable compared to senior faculty. They are knowledgeable but not that helpful. The curriculum is relevant but not very practical, so it doesn't make students industry-ready. The semester exams are fairly hard, so you should study regularly before exams, and the passing percentage is about 65%.

The college provides good placements and supportive faculty.
Placements: The placement of DYPCOE and Akurdi is decent for the CS/IT/AIDS branch. The average package is around 5-6 LPA. Top offers for these branches were about 27-52 LPA, coming to core branches mechanical, civil, ENTC, and robotics. The average package is around 4 LPA. About 75-80% of students are placed annually, and off-campus placement offers go even higher considering the skill of an individual. Major recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: DYPCOE Akurdi has a decent infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, labs, and a library. Wi-Fi is available on campus. The hostel facilities are great, and the mess food is okay. It has basic medical facilities and decent sports grounds. Overall the college infrastructure is nice.
Faculty: Teachers at DYPCOE Akurdi are knowledgeable and supportive. Teaching quality is decent, and the curriculum is mostly aligned with industry needs and requirements. Semester exams are manageable with regular study, and the pass percentage is generally good.
Other: I chose this course in DYPOCE Akurdi due to its reputation and campus location and also considering my CET percentile. My course is BE in AIDS which is one of the emerging markets in the tech industry. The campus crowd is friendly and helps to engage in friendly competition and also better for better connectivity, and events like technical fests, general championships for sports and curricular programs are well organized. You also get a scholarship from the Maharashtra government based on your category. If possible opt for better choices like COEP and PICT.

Average college with decent placements.
Placements: I would rate my college 3 out of 5 in terms of placements in my batch. Approximately 45 students got placed. My batch is of 85 students. The placement situation is decent for IT and CS students. The college should focus on bringing more opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is old. Classrooms are also outdated. The Wi-Fi speed is also slow. The food of the college is average. The college has sports facilities like a playground. Events are organised in the college. Many games are also played.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The difficulty is average. The passing is simple. The teaching quality in my college is average. Some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, but not all the teaching methods are mostly traditional with limited use of modern tools.
Other: If you have an interest in coding, you can prefer CS and IT. Events and fests are normal.

Review of D.Y. Patil College of Engineering.
Placements: Our college has good placements. The top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, and Worldline. Many students also grab off-campus opportunities. One student from the previous batch get placed in Microsoft, and a girl get an internship at Amazon. The college is constantly making efforts to improve placements.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure with facilities like Wi-Fi, enough classrooms, a cafeteria, and a gym. Currently, the college doesn't have its own hostel, it is under construction and will be completed by July 2025. But, the quality of food in the college canteen is average.
Faculty: The curriculum of the college closely resembles that of Savitribai Phule Pune University. It has a very comprehensive assessment type exams. The college conducts exams two times a semester. The difficulty of papers is not that much, it is up to the board level.
Other: Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is my branch, and it has decent placements. The best thing about my college is its events, faced campus crowd, and connectivity. The scholarship is given by MAHADBT, which is a government scholarship.

Review of D.Y. Patil College of Engineering.
Placements: The average placement of the college is 4 LPA. The highest package offered in 2024-25 is 52 LPA from Microsoft, but it was off-campus. Computer Science and Information Technology branches have get desirable packages in recent years. Branches like Civil and Mechanical are not up to the mark, but there are several chances that these branches will also get good placements in the upcoming years. Internships are offered to students in both paid and unpaid formats, which help students get knowledge in their field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided in the college are improving day by day. The college has one library and one reading room, with two campus cafeterias. There is also one smart store, which is helpful for students to buy stationery. A Xerox shop is available where students can get all the required materials for college activities. Wi-Fi networks are available for all students in every building. Additionally, projectors are present in every classroom, and the installation of smart boards has just done by the college for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students. Some of them have also qualified the GATE exam with a decent rank. Their teaching quality is really remarkable. They can answer all doubts of students whenever students want to ask. My personal experience is great. The difficulty level of semester exams is really good. You have to study regularly to clear all aspects. Students are getting good placements based on their skills and are getting ready for their future.
Other: I chose this course because of the high cutoff in other colleges for the branch I wanted. The food quality in the college campus cafeteria could be improved a little bit, as there have been instances where rates are found in the kitchen due to low maintenance. Events are always there for students. Recently, Fahrenheit and Sambhav events were held. The DJ Night and Music Concert played a major role in making events more enjoyable. As there are lots of colleges on campus, there is an issue of crowd gathering. Everyone who took admission through category benefits has to fill the Mahadbt form.

Good infrastructure of the college.
Placements: Honestly, about 50% of our batch students get placed, but mostly in sales companies and for sales roles. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. The college placement is so average.
Infrastructure: There are no proper labs for Robotics and Automation department. Wi-Fi facility are available everywhere on campus. The hostel is under construction and will be available for the 2026 batch. Classrooms and library are quite good. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but when it comes to teaching experience, they should improve better. The course provides mostly theoretical knowledge. It does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are strict in the college, but passing is not very hard.
Other: Fests and events are the best memories of the college. The campus is also best.
