IIT Roorkee is conducting the GATE 2025 CS exam in two shifts on February 1, 2025. The GATE CS1 exam timings are 9:30 am to 12:30, and the second shift is from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. After the completion of each shift, candidates can find the GATE CS1 and CS2 memory-based questions and solutions PDF below.

IIT Roorkee finally completed the GATE 2025 CS exam in two shifts on Feb 1. Overall, the GATE CS2 paper was easy to moderate, with engineering mathematics quite tough and lengthy. A few students found the aptitude section to be difficult. On the other hand, the core section was quite easy. The GATE 2025  CS shift 1 memory-based questions and answer key is now available. The GATE 2025 CS2 was conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The GATE CS shift 2 paper had a balanced set of questions and easy to moderate. GATE 2025 CS Question Paper and Answer Key: IIT Roorkee has concluded the GATE computer science morning shift exam at 12:30 pm. The second shift exam for GATE CS started at 2:30 pm and ended at 5:30 pm. Candidates appearing for the exam, had to carry their GATE CSE admit card to the centre. The computer-based test is conducted for 100 marks, comprising sections: general aptitude of 15 marks, engineering mathematics of 13 marks, and subject-based questions of 72 marks. Aspirants can find the GATE CS shift 1 &2 question paper and answer key once the session ends. GATE exam for CSE was conducted on February 1.

How to evaluate scores using GATE question paper and answer key?

To evaluate probable GATE scores, it is important to know exam pattern and marking scheme. Follow steps below to evaluate-

  • For each one mark MCQ, 1/3rd mark will be deducted for incorrect responses.
  • For a two-mark MCQ, a 2/3rd mark will be deducted for incorrect responses.  
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers to MSQ or NAT questions.
  • There is no partial marking to MSQs.
