GATE 2025 CS Question Paper and Answer Key: IIT Roorkee has concluded the GATE 2025 computer science morning shift exam at 12:30 pm. The second shift exam for GATE CS started at 2:30 pm and ended at 5:30 pm. While preparing the GATE 2025 rank list for (regular category) admission to M.Tech programmes, if two or more candidates scored the same GATE score, then the following rules will be followed to determine inter-se-merit -
- Firstly, based on the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 12, the candidate having higher percentage of marks to be ranked higher.
- If the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 12 does not break the tie, then based on the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 10, the candidates having higher percentage of marks will be ranked higher.
- If the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in class 10 does not break the tie, then ranking will be done based on date of birth, the candidate senior/older in age will be ranked higher.
- If there is tie even after this, then such candidates will be assigned the same rank.
