It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: Around 20 students got placed in companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies are hiring non-IT students. Many other companies visit our college to recruit all students. The top role offered is an assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college is fully furnished. The infrastructure of our college is the best in the city. Our college provides air-conditioned computer labs, a library with many books, etc. Students who got above 80% can borrow books for free from the library. Our college has a canteen. It provides all fresh food items.
Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced, qualified, and educated. They are very friendly. They help students to gain knowledge. They provide general training to cope with the outside world. There is a semester system in our college. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: There are around 40 students in our class. There are more than 5 sections in our college.

Our college is well-developed, but placements and faculty members are not that good.
Placements: Placement opportunities for medical students are not good. Core companies also don't visit the campus. There is a common placement cell for all students, which doesn't provide much help, so for medical students, placements opportunities are very rare. None of the companies visited during our time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-developed. Wi-Fi is not available for students because mobile phones are not allowed for students on the campus. Biotechnology labs are good as compared to other labs of the college. The hostel is quite spacious, but the mess food is average. Hostel rooms are good.
Faculty: Faculty members for the medical course are not that good because they keep on changing. During our time, we get to see new teachers every semester, but a few of them are very good and highly qualified. The thing which is good about biotechnology and microbiology students is that they get industry exposure and one-month training outside the campus.
Other: Many government scholarships are available for needy students. Many events and fests are organised by our college, like youth fest.

Overall college is good. It provides a nice infrastructure and the best boom in extracurriculars.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is not good for medical courses. One or two placement drives are arranged for medical students, and it's not good for their future. Placement offers related to a particular course are also provided, but it is not 100% assured. We have to work on our own to get placed, and the placement cell doesn't help much.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is overall good. Wi-Fi facility is not available. Even mobile phones are not allowed on campus. However, Wi-Fi facility on computers is available. Classrooms are good, and also there are some smart classrooms. Furniture of the classroom is not good as these are of the old type. The library is the best in Yamuna Nagar which consists of various valuable books. Medical facilities are also there with a nurse. Sports and games facility is also there. Extracurricular activities are high in our college, which gives a boom to students. Canteen is also nice, which serves good food. The hostel is also nice with huge rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members for our course were guest faculty, so they are changed regularly. Some teachers were highly qualified and good at teaching. They provide knowledge. But some teachers do not even know how to teach. But all the things were balanced. Education provided by this college is good and helpful. Teachers are very helpful. They also provide industry exposure to biotechnology and industrial microbiology students. Overall, faculty members are good here.
Other: Events like Youth fest is the most important event for this college. Students of this campus participate in the fest with high joy and excitement. The college always gets rewarded in youth fest. Campus crowd is a mixture of high and low ones. Scholarships are also provided to needed students. Various scholarships are offered by the government to students. Campus is the best to boom your extracurricular activities.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure and study but not with placements.
Placements: . The placement cell of a college is responsible for getting its students placed in top-notch companies but I am quiet unhappy with the placements of DAV college. It is said that many reputed companies like WIPRO, IBM, GENPACT, etc. visit the college but the situation seems to be totally different. This year around 120 students got placed which is quite less.
Infrastructure: Facilities of D. A. V College are really appreciable. The building is well constructed and equipped. It has a huge auditorium to carry out various functions. The canteen is well maintained and hygienic and the rates of dishes are also very reasonable. The college even runs a hotel of its own for the students. The premises of DAV college is not less than an established city in itself. It has everything inside the premises be it market, hotel, clinic, boutique, parlour and what not.
Faculty: The teachers of D. A. V. College were really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methods adopted were really appreciable. The student-faculty ratio was fairly justified. We were often taken to attend workshops and seminars which obviously provided a good exposure.
Other: Girls have always been considered as the weaker gender. In that era DAV emerged as a great help for the girls. The college not only provides knowledge but also creates a strong base for the girls to showcase their talent and skills in the outer world. The placements are good but most of the girls go for off campus placements as they prefer working in big cities.
